I can’t say enough wonderful things about La Petite! My 1-year-old son has been attending, and the level of care, love, and professionalism he receives every day brings me so much peace as a parent. A huge thank-you to Miss Latoya, Miss Merle, and Miss Nijah for their amazing leadership. Their communication, warmth, and dedication to creating a safe and nurturing environment truly shine through. And to Miss Tanya, Ms. Khadijah, and Trinity — thank you for caring for my most precious little boy with such patience, kindness, and genuine affection. It means the world to me to know he is surrounded by people who treat him like family. La Petite has exceeded all my expectations, and I’m so grateful for this team. Highly recommend!

I’m beyond disappointed with how this daycare continues to operate. They close far too often and almost always without proper notice — usually just a few hours before closing! Parents barely have time to rearrange our entire day, and that’s completely unacceptable. This constant “short-staffed” excuse has become a pattern, not a rare situation. It’s irresponsible and unprofessional. Parents rely on childcare so we can work and provide for our families. That’s the whole purpose of sending our children to daycare — so we know they’re being cared for while we’re at our jobs. Having to constantly leave work or rush to pick our children up early because the center doesn’t have enough staff is not only stressful, it’s inconvenient, unfair, and a direct reflection of poor management. Staff shortages are an internal issue — not a parent’s problem. It’s the center’s responsibility to ensure they have adequate coverage and a reliable team in place. What makes this even worse is the complete lack of communication. Just today, I dropped my toddler off at 6:00AM, only to be told at 8:30AM that I needed to come pick her up by 10:00AM because they didn’t have enough staff. Why even allow drop-off if you already knew there was a shortage? That should’ve been communicated at drop-off, not hours later. It’s inconsiderate and shows zero respect for parents’ time or obligations. And let’s not forget — parents pay weekly tuition, not “maybe-we’ll-be-open-today” fees. We pay for five full days of care, and we deserve to receive that service. When closures or early pickups happen this frequently, it feels like we’re throwing money away. Some of us work jobs where leaving early or missing hours can directly impact our pay or even be counted against us. “Sorry for the inconvenience” is not enough — that’s just a lazy response to an ongoing issue that should’ve been addressed long ago. La Petite needs to take accountability and do better. This is not a one-time situation; it’s a repeated pattern of poor planning and disregard for working parents. Reliable childcare is essential, and parents shouldn’t have to question whether or not their daycare will actually be open that day. I’m seriously reconsidering keeping my child enrolled here because this kind of instability and lack of professionalism is beyond frustrating and unfair to families who are doing everything right.

My experience has been by far one of the Best here at this daycare the staff is loving and also caring when it comes to my kids my oldest attends morning care and after care and loves it my youngest has beeen attending since he was 2 and has learned soo many things, they helped potty train him and also teaches him so many things, they treat him amazing being that he has a disability they make him feel wonderful, I’m very grateful for Ms. Latoya and her staff, anytime an issue comes about it gets resolved the very same day every one is very attentive…and that’s one of the important things I love about this daycare…they also have cameras at all angles to monitor my kids…it’s also very affordable as well….thanks for everything thus far💙

I’m sorry but I came in 2x for a tour and both times I felt uneasy leaving my kids here , office is mess papers everywhere , kids are practically on top of each other , not enough staff . I feel as thought if I leave my kids here that they would get lost. I don’t know who the director or owner is but this facility is unorganized.

This a very good daycare. My kids have been attending La Petite for several years now and never had any issues with management nor teachers. Mrs. Naomi the assistant director is Awesome. Very helpful and pleasant. Mrs. Myrtle is my daughter teacher and I just love her. She's always so nice, understanding, and has lots of patience. Very good with the kids.
