La Petite Academy - Highway 138

I never leave reviews but this time I felt like I had to for all of the parents out there struggling to find trustworthy childcare. I have two kids enrolled at this location. They have been at this daycare for a year now. My two year old is the only one who attends full time and she loves this place. She started in the toddler room with Ms.Yaya, who she loves so much and still runs to her even though she has been transitioned into the 2s and 3s room with a new teacher. Ms.Yaya has also attended field trips with the older kids in the summer and the older kids love her as well. My oldest has so many fun memories and pictures with her. I truly appreciate her! Now I will say my only small concern since the classroom transition for my 2 year old is the diaper changes/potty training. I have picked her up a few times and noticed she was soiled and not changed. I think they may need more hands for diaper changes and potty time. - (My only reason for four stars) Overall, I have not had any major issue with this daycare and I love the fact I have camera access at all times and I appreciate the communication and updates throughout the day on their app.

First let me start by saying I love this school and ALL THE STAFF Here. I have two kids that goes here. My 3 year old been here since he was 1 & my 5 year old been here since he was 3. All the teachers are amazing , helpful , listen to my concerns I have very mindful of the kids and parents. If I could rate higher than 5 I would without hesitation. My kids look forward to going to school everyday. Ms. Yaya , Ms. Ariel , Ms. Shameka, Ms. Kayla, Ms.Erwin, Ms.Shay , Ms. Iketa , Mrs. Pam & Mr. Jalen are all wonderful amazing teachers. Even the ones I missed from the other classes and lunch lady. I wish my kids could continue to go here full time after the Ga pre k class. Mrs T is a wonderful, amazing assistant director. She’s listening to everything you have to say my kids love her so much she works with the kids in the classrooms also we love all the teachers and staff at the shcool. Very clean, my kids come home and tell me they had a good day at school . Sometimes they wanna stay longer to finish playing and learning my kids knows things that kids there age hasn’t learned yet. My oldest know sign language. My 3 year old knows all his numbers and colors etc . I love this school I recommend it to everybody I come in contact with keep up the good work.

my daughter has been going here since the infinite class. We really really love Miss Shay. She is my baby‘s favorite and has been there since she was crawling. We have now reached the private pre-K which has been awesome . both teachers miss Pam and Ikeda( hope I’m not butching her name )are absolutely amazing. They definitely helped me from the parenting standpoint as a single mom to help build structure so that when she’s home, it continues you always wanna be mindful where your kids are spending a lot of their time and I trust my babies there. well highly recommend. we also love the assistant director. Ms.T has definitely been helpful during her leadership at the school as well!

All of the teachers are wonderful, and I really appreciate that there is a camera in each classroom. My daughter seems to genuinely love all of her teachers, which means a lot to us. I do wish there were an additional teacher or aide in the classroom to help with things like cleanup and diaper changes/toilet introductions. I understand that staffing meets the state-required ratios, but it feels like an extra set of hands could be helpful at times.

My daughter has been attending for almost 3 months now. Ms. Yaya & Ms. Shaela have been nothing short of amazing! They are very hands on, energetic and respectful with the kids. They communicate any and every concern with parents throughout the day if needed. My daughter is excited every morning to attend daycare and that makes my heart smile and lessens any worries. In the midst of a leadership change, Ms. T’Keyah has shown professionalism, respect, and love to all of the parents and kids. She knows them all by name and always greets both the parent and child. She has shown resilience and dedication as the Assistant Director and as the Interim Director. This establishment definitely deserves a higher rating (from my time being here).
