The facility is described as family-like with caring, patient teachers who create a nurturing environment.
La Petite is the only place I trust for my babies to come to! I couldn’t picture sending them anywhere else, in fact for 2 years I travelled 25 minutes out of the way of my work commute just to bring them here! They take such good care of my 2 kiddos. My daughter (now 5) has been attending since 2022 and now comes through for after school care- their bus transportation is a GOD SEND for working parents and my daughter loves her bus rides with Mrs.Kaitlyn! My son (21 months) loves his teachers and is learning new things daily! There are cameras that you are able to sign into and watch if you miss your babies! The teachers send updates through out the day about your kiddos and have pictures several times a day. All around a great facility and I couldn’t love our La Petite family more! I can’t speak enough good things about administration; Sam, our director- is professional and affirmative with children that are in her care, she truly loves her “daycare” kids like her own. I have seen her work above and beyond for the kids at her center. Kaitlyn, our assistant director is also professional and affirmative. I see her every morning and every afternoon, she is always consistent, smiling and reassuring to our babies. Ultimately that’s what we all want for our babies- consistency, respect and love- you’ll find that here with the admin and all of the staff!
My two nieces attend La Petite and I couldn't be happier with what I've seen from them. They are the most polite and friendly children. Always a please and thank you for everything with the two girls. Their behavior has improved as well as their enthusiasm for a day with friends and educators. And speaking of educators, Samantha Clark is absolutely delightful! She is incredibly patient and kind no matter what life throws at our her and our young people. She inspires such greatness in everyone around her that I feel we will all succeed in this life. If I had to pick a single word, it would be EXCEPTIONAL!
Yaya is incredibly sweet and patient with the kiddos. Our daughter just adores her and so do we!! Sam and Kaitlyn welcomed us with open arms and have been so amazing as well. We love this place and everything it has to offer our daughter.
Our family was part of this center for many years. Over the past six months, however, we lost trust in the safety, professionalism, and oversight of the program. During that time, the center closed unexpectedly with no notice due to building code violations, we experienced major billing errors, and I was confronted by staff in an immature and unprofessional manner after reporting a concern to the director. Our time here ultimately ended due to a serious breakdown in professionalism involving classroom staff. A situation that should have been handled calmly and privately escalated into dismissive and confrontational behavior in front of children, followed by defensiveness rather than accountability. The tone and manner of communication were inappropriate for a childcare setting and left me deeply concerned about how conflict is handled when parents raise concerns. This was not a decision we made lightly after many years of enrollment. Parents should also pay close attention to the billing system. I was wrongly charged over $400 and had to fight to recover the money. The billing records are unnecessarily complicated, and it is extremely difficult to reach anyone beyond the center level to correct errors. It is concerning that funds can be withdrawn without clear, accessible accountability. I share this to encourage parents to remain vigilant, not only about staff professionalism and behavior, but also about billing accuracy and how concerns are addressed. Leadership matters, but so does the conduct modeled by the adults working directly with children every day.
Sam, the director, is top tier. She not only is highly qualified to run a daycare and care for kiddos, but she is extremely personable and relationship oriented. She knows every kid, every parent and every situation. She greets each parent personally when they are there to pick up their kiddo and asks about home life. My kiddos have their own individual needs and Sam and all the teachers make sure to meet all of their needs, with attention and love. We love La Petite White Settlement and feel very confident in their care.
