What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise Dear Ones Montessori for its caring, attentive staff and nurturing environment. Children show strong developmental progress including language skills, academic learning, and social-emotional growth. The facility maintains good communication with parents through daily updates and photos.
We absolutely love Dear Ones Montessori! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and at ease. The staff are incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely care about each child’s growth and happiness. Every day, our older child came home excited to tell us about new activities, songs, and friends. Now our little one goes and we feel the staff provides the same love and care. The classrooms are bright, clean, and full of engaging learning materials. We appreciate how the teachers balance playtime with early learning — it’s clear they put a lot of thought into helping kids develop important skills while having fun. Communication is also excellent; we always know what’s going on through updates and photos throughout the day. It’s such a relief to know our child is in a safe, nurturing environment where they’re truly thriving. We couldn’t ask for a better daycare experience and highly recommend Dear Ones Montessori to any parent looking for a caring, professional, and joyful place for their little one!
My 4yo has been going here since she was 6mths old. My 2yo has been going since he was 3mths old. My kids and I love DearOnes Montessori. There were concerns with the staff turnover rate but that has since gotten better. No daycare is perfect. I understand people come and go, and make moves that benefit them and their family. They helped with my daughter's potty training and kept her on track. They've helped with my speech therapy and encouraging him to use his words more. They aren't just a daycare they've become and extended family. Both of my toddlers have grown with the help of all the staff past and present.
This daycare will always bring us great memories from over the years. As my son became older, dynamics changed and the daycare as a whole isn't the same. I will recommend the infants room to anyone, Mrs. Dinah is amazing and keeps parents informed. Ms. Leslie and Cynthia really love teaching and spending time with the children. It became an issue for me when my son hated for me to drop him off in the mornings and would cry. I understand trying to create a welcoming environment but this is still a place for children foremost. Then reading the disturbing reviews in recent times and the inability for the owner to take any accountability disturbs me. I made the heartfelt decision to move on and put my son in different establishment. I wish the staff the best of luck on their future endeavors.
We experienced repeated issues during our time with this daycare and often felt that concerns were not addressed with honesty or accountability. For example, the front desk staff often lied about small things that at the end of the day didn’t matter. This raised concerns about transparency and communication because if you’re willing to lie about something small, what would happen when something big actually occurred. On another occasion, our child’s bottle was overheated to 108 degrees. Thankfully, I arrived to pick her up before it was served, but this posed a serious safety risk. Additionally, our child was once given the wrong bottle, and rather than acknowledging the mistake, excuses were made. We later confirmed directly that the wrong bottle had, in fact, been given. At one point an incident had happened where our child got injured. The staff called us. Told us their version of what happened. They told us that she hit her head on the shelf. I asked them to send me photos of her head. Something felt off, so when I arrived to pick her up, the teacher in the classroom had no idea what I was talking about and said she hadn’t been injured. So I asked to watch the video and turns out the entire version I was given was incorrect. Huge red flag and a major concern. Staff turnover was frequent, and parents were not notified when teachers changed. For instance, our child’s primary teacher left without any communication from the school. When it comes to our children’s care, parents should be informed of such changes immediately. There were also concerns regarding professionalism. At times, staff arrived dressed in a manner that appeared unprofessional. While comfort and mobility are important in childcare, professional presentation also matters in building trust with families. We also noticed that our toddler, who was walking and beginning to talk, was frequently placed in a classroom with much younger, non-mobile infants. This raised concerns about her social and cognitive development not being appropriately supported. While there were many issues, we want to note that we greatly appreciated Mrs. D and the care she provided when she was present. Unfortunately, she was not our child’s teacher throughout the entire experience. Overall, our family was not satisfied with the quality of care, communication, or leadership at this daycare. For this program to succeed, it will require strong, transparent leadership that prioritizes safety, professionalism, and child development
My daughter has been going to DearOnes Montessori since she was 4 months old. This was our second attempt at finding a good daycare for our baby after a month at another facility. The staff has cared for my baby well and I see the time and effort the staff has invested into her, especially Ms. D, Ms. Lesley, and Ms. Cynthia. My daughter speaks in full sentences, knows her ABCs, can count to 10+, learned sign language, and so much more all before the age of 2. They even encouraged and took the lead on weaning off of the pacifier at 18 months as well as potty training before she even turned 2 years old. Ms. Yazzi has also been a great addition to the staff and the explorer (younger toddler) room! At her current stage, my daughter is struggling with morning drop off, but t team and Mrs RC do everything they can to make her excited and feel welcomed each morning. If I had to provide a con or something for them to work on it would be the staff turnover, but I think it is normal for the industry. They have their core team that has been there consistently and that I can depend on. I know that my daughter is being well taken care of at this facility. I recommend it to everyone I meet with a child around my daughter’s age!
