La Petite Academy - Citrus Heights

My son has been attending La Petite since he was 1 years old. I was so nervous about day care in general and that quickly dissipated. The staff were so warm, patient, and friendly. We feel so safe with them! He’s currently in early preschool. His teachers are clearly invested in educating as well as caring for the kiddos. My son is happy, has friends, and is learning fast! Very grateful to this program.

My daughter has been going to La Petite since 2021. She started in the infant room and worked her way through to pre k. When looking for a daycare as a first time mom the most important thing to me was to be able to check on her whenever I could and LPA had cameras. I was able to log into the app and watch the live feed whenever and however long I wanted. It really eased my mind. They send pictures and videos as updates. We were not shy when asking how did she do when we came to pick her up and we always got honest answers. “She was great example for class today” “she had a hard time today but then she helped me check herself in on the iPad and started playing” or maybe “she was having so much fun that she wasn’t listening very well” but we were met with honesty and kindness to work through and grow her as a person. Through the years we cultivated relationships with the staff. We were sad to see some teachers move on, but we were also happy to meet new teachers. There have been some there since our day one and will talk to us about how little she used to be. I just told the assistant director the other day that I was sad that my daughter would be moving on to Kindergarten next year. My daughter will be by to visit the teachers she loves because we just put our son in the infant class this year. We get to move on up through the school again. One thing for my husband and me is that this isn’t just a daycare, this is the place where our little ones are learning to grow and interact with people/other kids. They are finding who they are in this big world. We thank them everyday for taking care of our kids when they are there showing them patience, kindness, warmth, understanding. Creating with them. Building with them. Growing with them. They have extra curriculars: dance, sports, field trips. They have water days in the summer, day camps with magicians and ventriloquist. They have year round out of school events: family get togethers, back to school night, trunk or treat, Thanksgiving potluck, meet and greet Santa with activities. I am glad we found this place when we did.

Wow, The staff at the school is next level my daughter has been attending this school 4yrs off and on and the teachers really poor there hearts out. I have never seen a school that honestly cares as much as LA petite Citrus Heights. Im proud to say that the leadership here on the local level is amazing. Every school has trials but alot isn't there fault.

My daughter loves coming to this school! She is in the school age room and since she has joined she has learned new games, gets homework done before she goes home, and during the summer she goes on fun fueled trips! The staff are so supportive and sweet. We love this school!

My sweet girl started at this La Petite right before Covid struck. She’s been there ever since, and we couldn’t be happier! The staff is wonderful, and Miss Autumyn in school age always makes sure she has fun learning activities for the kiddos.
