La Petite Academy

Our family moved to Cary two years ago and finding a great preschool for our two kids was a top priority. We toured multiple schools, but found immediate comfort and confidence when we toured La Petite on Baines Ct. What attracted us to La Petite initially was the great classroom curriculums, healthy lunches, and the school Director's warm/approachable demeanor. After we enrolled our kids (and in addition to those things) we found that what makes La Petite so wonderful are the dedicated, compassionate teachers, the regular exciting and engaging activities for the kids, and the community of other parents. Our son had the privilege of being in Ms. Dana's Pre-K classroom. He was not only SO prepared academically for Kindergarten thanks to Ms. Dana, but the classroom really fostered his friendships, which gave him great social confidence before beginning Elementary School. Our daughter was enrolled in Upper Two's with Ms. Lily and now is in Preschool with Ms. Taja. Our daughter loves her teachers and looks forward to all the exciting activities they have planned every day. While the academic curriculum is great (she is learning a ton), what we appreciate the most is how much fun she has every day. Whether it's a dance party, classroom yoga, tending the garden outside, or a special guest coming to visit, there is always something fun for her to look forward to. The cherry on top is that our daughter has made some best friends in her classrooms who we hang out with regularly outside of school, too. I don't give out reviews often, but I genuinely feel that La Petite on Baines deserves 5-stars. I am so grateful for the teachers putting in their max effort to make the school such a wonderful, warm atmosphere for our kids. And I'm beyond thankful knowing that when I drop them off, they are happy, cherished, and supported. I hope this helps any new parents out there! Good luck on your preschool journey!

I’ve been wanting to write a review for a while and hope it can help other families as they choose their childcare center! Our daughter has attended La Petite on Baines Court since she was 3 months old and is now a 4 year old. We love it! The teachers and administration are amazing. She has really enjoyed all of her classes and teachers. The teachers that she has had - Ms. Alicia, Ms. Lili, Ms. Bre, Ms. Taja, Ms. Taylor, Ms. Sophia and Ms. Dana have really helped her grow to be such a confident girl! We love Ms. Stephanie (Director) and Ms. Erin (Assistant Director)! They are always willing to listen to any questions or concerns, and know the kids so well. We’ve been very happy and could not have picked a better place!

Our son started at La Petite when he was just 2 months old, and we have loved it ever since. We have appreciated how patient and communicative the staff have been as our baby turned into a toddler. They were just as excited about all the milestones he hit as we were. They provide meals and snacks, making sure he gets a balanced diet and gets to try new things. The app is great for keeping in touch with his teachers and seeing updates of all the fun things he doing throughout the day.

My son absolutely loves this daycare. The location is perfect, and they provide plenty of art supplies and learning materials to keep the kids engaged. They plan a wide variety of activities every day, which really helps keep the children busy, curious, and happy. The teachers are fantastic — caring, patient, and always keeping us updated throughout the day with photos and messages. I really appreciate how involved and communicative they are. They also offer great seasonal activities, including extra sports and fun programs in both summer and winter. It’s clear they put a lot of thought into creating a positive, enriching environment for the kids. Overall, we’ve had a wonderful experience, and I’m so grateful for the love and attention they give my son. Highly recommend!

We absolutely love La Petite Academy! From the very first day, the staff made us feel welcome, comfortable, and confident that our little one was in the best hands. The teachers are not only incredibly professional, but also so warm, patient, and genuinely caring. Our daughter is always excited to go in the mornings and comes home happy, learning new things every day. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing she’s in a safe, nurturing, and fun environment. You can truly tell the staff loves what they do, and it shows in the way they care for each child.
