La Fitness Kids Klub @ Toco Hills

This gym has steadily gone downhill. The old, broken & dirty equipment is not maintained, fixed or replaced. Machines and even benches are broken constantly and take forever to be fixed-if they are at all; the new thing is they have now simply removed all movable benches. This gym lacks equipment usually seen at any LA Fit like tires and pull/push sleds. They have kettlebells-but are in the 'Personal Trainer section' only. Which we are all forbidden from using-also never seen a policy that strictly enforced. If the equipment isn't being used it shouldn't be an issue. There are also no big fans in the ceiling for some reason, unlike almost every other LA Fitness. So in the back, the air gets very stale and musty. There are other gyms around that are even cheaper than this location and they have new equipment and just an overall better experience. I may be switching soon.

Best gym location I’ve ever been to, listen the customer service is great, welcoming, patient, helpful, friendly and most of all always available and ready to answer any questions/ concerns you may have. Alyster the personal trainer is very detailed and dedicated to helping you on your gym journey. Big up and full respect to MJ at the front desk alongside the young lady with locs (I forgot her name) and the cleaning lady. I’d keep it to myself but this is too good so I MUST SHARE get a LA FITNESS membership and join this location, trust me you won’t regret it.

Staff is amazing!!! But Here lies another LA fitness that’s in a supreme location but all the machines are old and rusting. 3 out of the 6 bikes here are out of service and the ones that are working are janky. Doesn’t seem like this place has had an update in over a decade. Please renovate this gym. Its really doesn’t need a full overhaul just replace some of the old decrepit bikes and machines with newer ones!!! Come on LA do what you did with sugarloaf mills!!!

I go in there a couple days ago. The young black girls alive is fun. I get on my phone number. There was no problem. I walked in today. I'm not gonna be mean I'm gonna be rude ....the latin guy front desk rude nasty first told me he can't find my account by number lol then i said put it in again he finds it then in a nasty tone .make sure u have your key card or next time its a no ..who are you talking to ??cancel the whole membership

Been going here for years—still enjoy it — BUT no individual mats for MONTHS now. Just a few paper-thin yoga mats from Lost-and-Found that are filthy. Sometimes weight clips are in short supply…which is a safety issue. One very rude, loud lady trainer who makes disparaging remarks about gym-goers to her PT clients, loudly vents her personal frustrations, and won’t let anyone NEAR the roped-off training area (which, what-do-ya-know—contains better-maintained equipment) yet she insists on making her clients use the “common” machines or doing random workouts in the middle of the main footprint in everyone’s way. Total double standard. Plus, she has no right to comment on people’s bodies…whether they pay her too or not.
