La Fitness Kids Klub @ Lenox / Buckhead

Had to quit this gym because it was so gross! Half the time did not have wipes to clean machine, bathrooms disgusting. Staff barely spoke to you and stayed on phones. $30 a month for this gym being the most basic price is mind blowing when there’s so many budget gyms in the area. Do not make the same mistake I did in signing up here.

Huge LA Fitness and it doesn't get overcrowded like the midtown one. Lots more of each type of equipment than the other ones around here. Bigger and better than midtown and Ansley, and 100x better than the worst LA Fitness in the country: Atlantic Station. There are even racquetball courts here.

Now that this gym has transitioned to Club Studio Fitness, the opening process and delays are unacceptable. The facility had no issues drafting two months of membership, however every issue opening and pinpointing an exact date. The delays each month ranging from being told it would open mid June, end of June, mid July, end of July, permits back on 8/8 and touring beginning on 8/15 being told the studio WILL open on 8/18 and classes begin on 8/19. As of today, 8/20 the gym is not opened yet and being told due to the pool not ready, the AC not working and painting needed to be completed. There is NO OPENING DATE INSIGHT. On the club studio fitness Instagram, they have deleted all comments questioning the open date. However on a separate post from the studio mangers page (Eric Manthey) there is a video shown of him working out in the new Club Studio Fitness. So far, this establishment is giving very much scam vibes and collecting as much membership dues before opening to fund the opening. This opening also seems very unprofessional and lack of knowledge on how to even open a gym. I would have assume there would be previous experience opening such an establishment, however they seem like rookies. After paying for two months upfront and not even being able to access the facility, I foresee canceling and refunds soon.

I just want to take a moment to shine a light on two amazing individuals at this fitness club who always bring such warmth, positivity, and welcoming energy every time I come in Crystal and Valentino. Crystal is incredibly attentive and always takes the time to acknowledge me, no matter what she’s doing. A simple “hello, how are you?” goes such a long way, and she never misses the chance to give me that same uplifting energy on my way out, wishing me an amazing day. I’ve been to many gyms, and I’ve noticed that at most places, staff often walk right past members without a word — but not Crystal. She’s truly one of a kind, and more gyms need a Crystal on their team. The world would honestly be a better place with more people like her. And then there’s Valentino — his presence feels like you’ve known him forever. He always takes a moment to stop, chat, and genuinely ask how you’re doing. His energy and authenticity make the environment feel so friendly and inviting. If you want to feel good and be surrounded by great energy, come to this location and look for Crystal and Valentino — they are the absolute best!

I just want to take a moment to give a huge shoutout to Valentino at LA Fitness. My brother and I came in just to check things out, but what really sold us wasn’t just the gym it was Valentino himself. He has an incredible personality, genuine energy, and a natural gift for connecting with people. Valentino is the kind of salesman you rarely come across he doesn’t just talk at you, he listens, understands what you’re looking for, and makes you feel like you’re making the right decision. Honestly, he could sell water to a fish, that’s how good he is. He’s not pushy at all, just confident, knowledgeable, and authentic in the way he explains things. Because of him, signing up for a membership was a no-brainer. LA Fitness is lucky to have someone like him on the team, but honestly, with his skills and personality, Valentino could thrive in any high-level sales role. He’s sitting on a true gift, and anyone who works with him will see it right away.
