This is without a doubt the worst gym I've ever been a member of in the last 20 years. I only go because the location is very convenient. Equipment is frequently broken, missing, or just always worn down. Most of the cardio equipment has a broken heart rate monitor, broken TV, or both. The hand sanitizers and wipes are empty much of the time and staff has to be asked several times to refill them. It smells really bad in there some days. Walls show rust, chipped paint, and just general dirtiness. The pool and hot tub have been closed down forever at this point. Almost no one bothers to wipe down equipment or rack weights when they're done. Tons of dumbbells are MIA. The stretching/yoga mats are gross.
Good experience in LA Fitness at Atlantic Station. Gym was clean and had a good variety of weights and well-kept equipment. Employees were very nice and welcoming; especially Ms Jackie who did a great job taking care of the floors and equipment. Def recommend.
It smelled like feet as soon as you walk in and it's super small 😩 There is not that many machines, it was only empty because I came at 11am on a weekday. The pool is also closed! The class schedule is also extremely limited which for a location in the heart of Atlanta is wild! The stretch area is just a hallway and the "athletic" area is just sad. Also no punching bags anywhere for boxing. The positive, the basketball court was nice and packed! other than the smell it looks clean and the people there are nice and a vibe. I just feel bad if this is their closest location. I will not be back!
Why put off until the new year what you can do today? I’m so excited to be a part of the @lafitness family again. A special thanks to Patrick who helped my friend and me through the membership process at Atlantic Station. He had such good energy. We really appreciated his help and his no sales pressure approach. I highly recommend seeing him if you're looking for a new gym! Thanks to Trey as well for your help. You are all appreciated. Let’s go!!!
Kenneth was so nice. I can’t believe how amazing his customer service was! I truly appreciate such a great person who gives 100%. We had an issue with out membership through our health insurance and he went above and beyond to assist. He deserves a raise, bonus, SOMETHING. Awesome individual. Thank you
