What Parents Say
K's Play Days receives mixed reviews with ratings ranging from 2 to 5 stars. Positive reviewers praise flexible hours, friendly staff, and owner responsiveness, while negative reviewers express concerns about staff phone use during supervision and inappropriate handling of children.
I live right next door to this place . I constantly look out my window , which is on the 3rd floor & see the workers almost always on their phones . Thats with both groups of kids , younger and older . They arent on their phones the entire time but enough to cause concern . Phones should be banned except for work related/emergency services when supervising multiple small children . Beware !!!! Id take pics but i dont want to violate the childrens and their parents privacy.
My daughter from age 3 until 5 years old attended K`s Play Days. My infant son attended K`s Play Days from I believe 6 weeks to 3 months. First off, K`s Play Days have amazing available open hours. (I believe for parents who do not have the 9-5 work schedule.) Plus a adorable daycare! The staff is very friendly & communication is open. As in, staff always pleased to answer any questions. Seems delighted to even just chat about your child/children. Owner, Tasha, is easy to get a hold of & overall serene. Tasha runs a nice daycare. Tasha understands/respects the needs of the parent(s). Example: When there was a time my babysitter was sick one day during school season. Tasha, no questions asked, made her daycare available for my daughter to attend for that day. Ks Play Days is a kid & parent/guardian friendly. I know this is only a three star daycare, but overall it is a safe place for your children. A daycare you can feel comfortable while you are at work. My baby came home content. My young child came home happy and made friends there. Due to a move I no longer attend K`s Play Days. However, I did want to take my time to put in my honest review about K`s Play Days.
I would NOT recommend this place. I work down the street from this "daycare" and have witnessed not on one occasion, or even two, but THREE separate occasions children being dragged and held inappropriately by staff members when walking from the playground behind the building to the front (it just happened to be the same staff member all 3 times). I understand children can be unruly, but dragging them along pavement, or hastily grabbing them by one wrist and one ankle and carrying them in the air is NOT appropriate child care of safe behaviors. If any parent knew that THAT'S how their child was treated I'm sure you would be reported. Also - In calling the "Manager" and bringing these incidents to her attention, she seemed disinterested. There was very long pauses, and she ended the call with "well, I'll talk to her". There was no apologies, explanations, or concern in her voice. So this is what led me to an online review. When I toured over 6 months ago for a place to bring my daughter I was immediately hit with a smell when I walked into the building, and on top of that - it's not a secured daycare... Anyone can walk in. The women "workers" seemed hardened and uninterested - and almost all are overweight and sit there. I understand people have budgets and I'm almost positive this place only survives by those using State Assistance for daycare or those who have odd hours of work (they are open late), but I wouldn't even bring my baby here if it was my last resort. BEWARE!
I have been trying out daycares, kind of seeing what is out there so I may give out fair reviews as a concern parent who want to inform other caring parents. As a result this place really is not bad. When I first saw the place I thought no way. Then after trying them out they are very good & fair. After my first impression from what I experienced after about a year or so and comparing to other places this place may not be a 5 star but with other places that claim they are a 4 or 5 star they deserve a 3 star. I would probably still be attending but I need transportation for my children so Ks Play Days does not fit for my needs at this time. In conclusion it is not fancy but they do their job and do it well with good hours and fair prices. 4 stars from me
I love this daycare for my son! He's learning and opening up so much more. All of the staff are amazing and I'd 100% recommend this facility to everyone!
