They’re amazing at Krayola Kids! My three year old skips her way into her classroom and my 1.5 year old reaches for teachers to have her held when I drop her off (otherwise she cries, but having the extra TLC in the morning is what she seems to respond to to get her quickly acclimated and content/happy). They’re professional and genuine, a perfect balance. They currently do not have an app system, but having come from that from a different daycare, I actually like the separation. I suppose if I was worried about my kids treatment, it would give some piece of mind, but I don’t have that feeling there. I feel very much in the loop with their days at Krayola. I have a calendar that shows me their activities and Krayola shares what foods they’re serving. After their day is done, we pick up their crafts from the day or a day previous and that’s when I get to talk to my kids about what they did as we look through their crafts. If there are any issues, I receive a call otherwise if it’s a minor wound (scratch, scrape, little cut, or even a poke in the eye from another mate), an incident report is there for me to sign. Lastly, they don’t really watch movies/tv. It’s not built into their curriculum. While I’m not totally against it, I personally love that they don’t. On the tech side, I rarely (if ever) have seen staff on their phones. I don’t know if it’s an internal policy, but that’s another huge win for me. I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing phones either, but just the fact that I don’t really see them makes me feel like they’re genuinely vested into what they’re doing during the day (which is a million things- taking care of kids, counting kids, feeding kids, reading, playing, taking kids to the bathroom, mediating if needed… and so on). I could actually write more but this is already a novel so just know that I’m pleased :). I write this review because as a parent, we want to know we’re sending our kids to a place where our kids are in safe hands, thriving, and growing. I feel like my kids have all these things. I’m happy with our kids at Krayola Kids and wouldn’t change a thing.

First I would like to say Tammy pours her absolute heart into this center, the kids that attend, the parents, and the staff and it shows through the kids and the teachers. She is always making sure that her rates are competitive, and I want to add that every business has an increase every year and it is needed and I don’t know all of the behind the scenes but my assumption is that the staff is very well taken care of and shown appreciation because for the most part the staff stays. Normally with daycares (that I have noticed) is there is a huge turnover and that is not the case with Krayola kids and that speaks volumes. The staff makes your kids feel right at home and also the parents as well, the kids not only feel love they truly are loved. I have used different daycares, have worked at daycares, and volunteered at some and there is not another place I would want my kids to be at. While walking by other rooms you see the love the teachers are showing to the kids, I have never felt more comfortable leaving my kids than I do here. I just can not say enough good about this daycare and I pray that they continue to be blessed with greatness

We love Krayola Kids. We started there more than 5 years ago with our daughter and continued with them when our son was born even after moving away from Isanti. We love all the staff and they do a wonderful job of caring for and teaching kids!
