Knowledge Beginnings

My son has been going to Allen Knowledge Beginnings for almost 2 years and he absolutely loves it! He had switched to a different daycare for a few months after we moved, but I ended up bringing him back to AKB because he told me everyday that he wanted to go back. The center is clean and organized, and the inside looks bright and colorful. You can tell the teachers and management truly care for the children, and the hard work they do is evident in the kids. Not only are they amazing with the kids, they are super friendly and personable with the parents too! I always notice how happy all of the kids are when I pick up my son (you can tell a lot about a school/daycare by how the kids behave). I’m so happy to have AKB be part of our village ❤️

If I could rate them zeros stats I would. Ms. Carla & Ms. Brenda were absolutely amazing. I cannot say the same for Aly the director. I found and have evidence of her having a vape in her office on her desk with her door opened to the public, the failure to communicate. My last straw was the failure to report my child was not eating and having contious bowel movements. I found out I took him to the doctor. I was not told that he could not return. At drop off Aly told me he could not stay and I told her my frustrations as a parent about the lack of communication, the constant issues I had to report. The failure to make a change. She then got angry and kicked my son out of school who was already there with students. I told her he was staying because he was allowed to stay per her statements. She took my baby out the school and told him she was going to call the police on his mom. My baby wa scared and said mommy I’m scared. That was my last day dealing with KB. I’m so disappointed and hurt by the actions of Aly. I could write a book and show pages of documentation of the reports I filed with KB and the state.

When we first started school two years ago, my daughter loved it. The assistant director, Miss Allie, has been amazing and is always super helpful when needed. The teachers in her class are super sweet, however, after a change in director, it seemed that attendance has gone way down. Teachers don't seem to stay for a long time anymore, and I'm not quite sure how well curriculums are followed.

Words cannot express how amazing this school is. Starting with the initial phone call Ms.Astrid & Ms. Allie have welcomed us with grace and love. All of the staff have shown us authentic quality education. As an educator, it is difficult to find a quality school that nurtures and develops the whole child. My son struggled with potty training due to medical reasons. Ms. Carla and Ms. Shadia both assist us in potty training and built up his confidence. They both worked to strengthen his emergent writing skills and ran the classroom like a school. Knowledge Beginnings Allen quickly became a part of our village. We are forever grateful for their dedication and love.

My experience from the start with knowledge begginnings has been wonderful. I felt welcomed from the first day I walked in by Ms Allie. They take great care of my little girl. Everything is kid first from proper nutrition to overall development. If I leave instructions regarding anything they listen and follow. I am grateful and thankful I found such great people who treats my daughter as if she was their own and is loving to her. I would highly recommend this childcare facility.
