I have both of my kids at KT since they were babies. We moved from that area, and with a broken heart we also moved the kids to a big chain school, close to our new home. It last 3 months and we are back at KT. The care, direction, respect, love and discipline they give to the kids, always maintaining a respectful and calm environment is non negotiable to us. Without saying they are a Christian school ♥️. The parents are nice and kind to each other too. We feel like home! I also love the fact we can pack food from home, which gives me peace of mind the kids are eating healthy food at lunch and on their snacks, even though KT provides snacks.

When I was younger, I babysat for many kids who attended Kingstown, and their families always had wonderful things to say. So when I had my own daughter, I felt confident this would be the right place for her. The enrollment process, however, was stressful. Even though we were on the waitlist for nearly a year before my daughter was born, when open enrollment came around, the waitlist essentially disappeared. Instead of a rolling waitlist, parents had to stand outside in the cold to scan a QR code and try to grab a spot. Thankfully, we did get in, but I feel this system could be handled much better and more fairly. Once enrolled (May 2025), we had both positives and negatives. On the positive side, the school is clean, and the teachers are kind and caring. On the downside, for the cost of tuition (comparable to a mortgage), I expected more. Meals are not provided—only a small snack like Cheerios—so parents have to pack all meals, even for babies. This was difficult and felt like a missed opportunity for the center to add value. Another challenge was communication. At first, we received daily updates, which I loved, but by the third month, this dropped to weekly updates on Fridays. By that point in the week, I was missing my daughter and wishing for more connection. At her new school, we receive multiple updates (photos, videos, notes) throughout the day, so I know it is possible for schools to manage this well. I also noticed that many of the toys seemed like hand-me-downs, and overall, the facility didn’t reflect the high tuition cost. It left me questioning where the money was going, since I didn’t see it reflected in meals, resources, or communication. We truly prayed over the decision, and ultimately chose to switch schools. In just one month at her new center, we’ve seen incredible growth—she’s happier, has gained healthy weight, and even others at church have noticed the change. She never cries at drop-off and is all smiles when we pick her up. Her new school provides meals, has excellent facilities, and still costs the same as Kingstown. I don’t usually leave reviews unless an experience is either excellent or very poor. This one falls in the middle. Kingstown is not a bad place—it’s an average one. The teachers are good people who care, but the system, facilities, and overall value do not live up to the price or the reputation that drew us there. I believe Kingstown is leaning heavily on past reviews and long-standing reputation rather than actively improving. Parents, do your research. Tour the facilities, meet the teachers, and ask hard questions. For us, moving our daughter was absolutely the right choice, and I’m thankful we made the switch.

My son came to King's Town at 3. He could say very few words and we were actually considering some speech therapy if we didn't see improvement. In 6 months his learning had dramatically increased. His speech was no longer a concern. He has been attending for almost 2 years now. My son now loves school and loves his classwork. They follow a good curriculum and he is excited to show us every day what work sheets or book they have been working on. The teachers and and staff here truly care about the children's engagement and success and are always willing to do extra to help where they can.

My daughter has started attending school at Kings Town and she absolutely loved it. When my husband and I go to pick her up she is so hesitant to leave. She loves her teachers and the friends she is making. Glad we choose the right school for our daughter.

Our children have been enrolled at King’s Town in some shape or form for over four years now. Whether it is part- time preschool for our littlest guy, Kindergarten readiness for our middle child or track out camp for my eight year old, we have been involved in most programs they offer- And have been more than happy with all of them! All of our children ask about their teachers and prior teachers from Kingstown very often. It feels like so many of them are an extension of our family. We have no doubt that they are treated with love and care throughout their day. We are very happy with the learning programs implemented at King’s Town, they learn SO much with the letter land and A bekah curriculum. We were worried about our now six year old at one point, but going through the K-5 readiness program prepared him for Kindergarten and it was not super strict by any means, but they have a way of making learning fun and his teachers were so very loving and he wanted to learn. We love the cleanliness of the center and that kids have a huge gym to play in if the weather isn’t great. I feel very fortunate that my wife got a recommendation for this preschool and jumped on enrolling them when she did because I cannot imagine them having gone/going anywhere else.
