Kinderworld

We had a wonderful experience with Walnut Creek Kinderworld. The environment is warm, safe, and nurturing, and it’s clear that the Sonja and Alex truly care about each child’s well-being and development. Our child thrived here—engaging in age-appropriate activities, building social skills, and receiving plenty of individual attention. Communication is excellent, and we always feel confident that our little one is in good hands. We recommend Kinderworld to any family looking for a loving, supportive place for their child to grow and learn.

We’ve had two boys attend Kinderworld. The first started at 1.5 yrs old and is graduating to kindergarten in August. The second is a yr in and will be there until he graduates as well. Sonja has been integral to their development—teaching them how to read, write, count, and setting the foundations for basic math. Plus the early social skills that are necessary for being decent dudes as they become adults. The smaller size of the daycare is an absolute, unintended benefit, because of the individual care that our boys have received. Highly reccomend.

Our son attended this incredible daycare from the time he was just 4 months old until he turned 5—and I can honestly say it was one of the greatest gifts of his early childhood. The owners are extraordinary caregivers and educators, and the environment they created became a true second home for our family. From the very beginning, they nurtured not only his physical growth—teaching him fine and gross motor skills—but also his social and emotional development, his early literacy and math understanding, and his sense of curiosity and wonder. The days were full of play, learning, creativity, and exploration, all grounded in love and structure. By the time he transitioned to kindergarten, he was more than ready—confident, curious, and capable. His teachers often commented on how well prepared he was, both academically and socially. Even now, two years after he graduated from the daycare, we still go back to visit. That says everything. The bonds formed there are real, and the memories from those early days are ones we will always treasure. If you're looking for a daycare that feels like family and gives your child a beautiful, strong start in life, look no further.

I am especially happy how much time and dedication Kinderworld has for our children. The small class sizes give more care and consideration instead of being an overcrowded place. Our kindergarten teacher was impressed with how well adjusted our kids were. We mentioned they went to Kinderworld and they said that many kids who went off to do well came from that daycare. We couldn't recommend it more!

I am so grateful that WCKW is in our community. "Miss Sonja" as my boys call her creates such a nurturing environment, and I can tell she really cares about the kids. I've seen my boys blossom socially under her care; they come home excited to tell me what they learned that day, share stories about their friends, and show me their artwork. I can't recommend WCKW enough!
