Kinderplatz

Kinderplatz was a lifesaver for us when our previous childcare center unexpectedly closed. Kinderplatz happened to have an opening for my son, and we were warmly welcomed by everyone during the very quick turnaround and transition. We have noticed considerable growth with my son over just the last few months, and I give lots of credit to the wonderful teachers and play-based curriculum. Kinderplatz has really helped set the stage for him as he transitions to pre-k this fall. I can't say enough good things about our experience at Kinderplatz!

We LOVE Kinderplatz. When evaluating childcare options, we considered hiring a nanny because we weren’t sure that we’d find a daycare that could accommodate my son’s feeding tube, but I am so glad we chose Kinderplatz. They ensured multiple staff members were trained on his feeding pump, so there is never an issue of him not being able to get a feed in time. Even when he isn’t eating much by mouth, he is included at the table so he doesn’t feel left out. He loves going to daycare and seeing his friends, and has gotten sick a lot less than we expected due to their thorough cleaning and hygiene procedures. As a parent of a kid with special needs, you’re always hyper-aware of whether you’re asking for “too much”, but we’ve never for a single second felt like he’s a burden to them. As his needs change, they are consistently flexible and communicative. It’s so clear how much they love all the kids. An extra special shoutout to his lead teacher Elizabeth, who we adore.

I can't say enough positive things about Kinderplatz! The staff here truly went above and beyond in supporting my child’s growth and development. From the moment we enrolled, we felt welcomed into a warm, caring environment where every teacher was genuinely invested in my child's well-being. In the 2 years we sent our child here before moving, I saw him grow in so many ways—socially, emotionally, and cognitively —thanks to their dedicated care and thoughtful curriculum. If you're looking for a daycare where your child will feel safe, supported, and encouraged to thrive, Kinderplatz is the place to be! We are so thankful to have found such a wonderful team as first time parents.

Kinderplatz in Bloomington is the most amazing childcare and educational center I could have ever chosen for my three daughters. The care, attention, and professionalism they provide are unmatched. Michelle and Kristi are truly incredible—some of the best people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Their dedication to the children and families shines through in everything they do. I couldn’t be happier with the experiences my daughters have had here. Highly recommend Kinderplatz to anyone looking for exceptional childcare!

My family was with Kinderplatz for just over 2 years and our experience with the staff and teachers was absolutely fantastic. Our child's social and cognitive development has her more than ready for kindergarten. Folks here truly filled the gap of 2 working parents.
