Pretty Bad. I gave 2 stars because there are a couple of staff members that I can tell try. But overall the way this place is managed and the leveI of care was subpar. Finances: Tuition was tough on the budget. I am on a deployment. With that there are assistance programs to help with tuition. The daycare just needs to complete the paperwork. Getting them to get the paperwork done the first time was like pulling teeth. Then when I was shipped out they just stopped completing the paperwork. Meaning I had to cover the full cost. I lost hundreds of dollars because the staff refused to complete paperwork that me and my wife asked them multiple times to complete. My wife was met with an attitude from the staff when she requested the paperwork be completed in person. Care: Reporting is inaccurate. They might as well not send up feeding and bathroom reports if they are going to pencil whip it. My daughter is not potty trained. She spent 8+ hours in the same diaper coming home soaking wet and/soiled on multiple occurrences. In addition my daughter always seemed to be extremely hungry when she got home. In addition I question how closely the children are being watched. My wife noted she was able to pick up my child from the playground without anyone noticing. The kids aren’t closely monitored and the teachers stay together away from the kids. My wife also noted the kids aren’t closely monitored yelled at. Frustration with small children happens but I would expect a professional establishments to have methods to deal with misbehavior, without being mean to them. Professionalism: My wife interacted with them for the most part. She noted the staff up to the leadership level was rude and unprofessional. I. my interactions (limited) whenever I requested admin tasks in person they were quickly brushed off and not completed (such as my military funding assistance). When my wife expressed her grievances (such as diaper changes, monitoring, and reports) the staff just started to become more rude to her. My oldest child went to the kindercare in greenville statensburg. They had their challenges but I don’t think I wondered once if my kid was being changed, fed, treated kindly or monitored. The staff isn’t formally trained childcare professionals and I get that. Some of them are legitimately trying and are good at what they do. But an overwhelming majority to include admin and leaders really disappointed me. I am overseas and wonder why the heck I sent my child to this place, and why I paid so much for this level of service. We pulled my daughter. Their corporate office was reasonable enough to waive the fee for withdrawing without 2 weeks notice.
This KinderCare really makes me feel like my child is safe and loved. They hold conversations, make you laugh and just all around great. I love that they keep me updated with photos almost daily and reports for that day. I really trust KinderCare with my daughter and this is how I love for a child care center to be. My daughter really love going to school and she loves her teacher. It’s just great knowing your child is in great hands when your handling adult life. ❤️
Ever heard that saying first impression means everything? Well each and every one of those staff welcome my two daughters in with open arms. First day doing a walk through you felt the genuine love from the Staff. Mrs. Robin was very helpful and it felt like we known each other for years. We just love her! And My five year old has fell in love with Mrs. Bernadette, she is such an amazing person. I mean the way she interacts with those kids is EVERYTHING. Right along with her personality! My 8 year old has really enjoyed being in Mr.Carmon class. He really is great with the kids also. Glad I made this decision when I did.
I was referred by my neighbor who’s judgement I trust. My sons have been going here for about a year now I have a 7 year old and 4 year old. Their teachers are great ! My 7 year old attends the after school and summer program. They kept him busy all last summer and after school he completes his homework with no problem. He loves going. I never have a problem with him not wanting to be there with his teachers and friends. He speaks highly of his teachers. Especially, Mrs. Brenda and Mr. Renaldo. My 4 year old is there all day. When he first started it was a big transition for him because of the structured classrooms. His teacher Ms Bernadette took him under her wings and got him on track with being excited to learn through play. She keeps me informed of his good days and bad days and the steps she take to redirect him when it’s necessary. When Ms Shirley started she introduced herself and stepped right in to get to know him and work with him. He loves both of his teachers. Mrs. Kayla & Ms Robin both are doing an awesome job in keeping the center organized and safe for our children. I highly recommend KinderCare-Red Banks.
We love KinderCare, the atmosphere is welcoming and encouraging for children and parents. My child loves all the staff especially Ms. Bernadette, and is always happy to go to school. The director is very involved and accessible. It doesn’t matter what time I pick her up she is always happy and involved in something fun.
