Kindercare Learning Center - Paseo Ladera

My son started at this Kindercare at eight months old. He is now 2 1/2 years old. We absolutely love it. I firmly believe the collaborative culture of the teachers comes from the administration. We get notified for any bumps and scratches or incident between students which inevitably happen. I particularly love the app because I can see diaper changes and feeds and activities throughout the day. I feel like my son is genuinely cared for and celebrated. All kids tend to go through some behavioral issues as they’re learning social norms, and the teachers have been very responsive to that and tailoring their messaging and plans to address behavior on an individualized basis to help them get through this phase. I never feel like they are just ignoring behaviors from either my child or that another child. They are very proactive and communicative and I feel like we work together to address issues. The way my son’s teacher describes my son is exactly who he is and it feels good to know that he is seen. I like the comments regarding what the students are learning and how they’re learning it. We have a very hands-on approach at home with learning and it’s lovely to see what’s going on in the classroom so we can reinforce at home.

My son was seriously injured here on multiple occasions. One being served food he’s allergic too, the other being serious injury by another child the school failed to report the severity of it. There is not proper supervision, and little to no communication when asking the teachers/directors for follow ups. The director is related to two other teachers. Teachers constantly in and out of the classroom, no one ever knows what’s going on and parents don’t get a clear answer. My sons last day he was sent home bleeding from his head, face and neck with knots on his head and it was not reported to me until the end of the day at pick up. PLEASE AVOID THIS SCHOOL AT ALL COSTS. ITS IS A SCAM!!

Reviewing for my 1 yo daughter (14 months). Obviously each age range will vary, but for her age group this school is absolutely fantastic. When I read some of these other reviews I was super concerned about this location, but I was in a last minute bind to find childcare and they were willing to start us right away. From the beginning they have been super communicative. Once the kids are enrolled, the teachers give daily progress reports with pictures and videos. It's amazing to watch my baby all day and I feel super safe having her there. Also on top of the safe childcare, they offer food/snacks/water, and they are constantly changing diapers. The amount of diaper changes is a little excessive (adds up in diapers!) but I am relieved to know that my baby is well cared for and won't get a diaper rash. I absolutely LOVE her teachers. Ms. Margarita is probably one of the sweetest most loving teachers I have ever encountered. (and I used to be a teacher!) Ms. Jasmine and Ms. Lyza are also great- they are constantly engaging the kids with activities throughout the day. Even the director herself Ms. Anna is so kind and greets us every morning personally. She even knows my older daughters name and gives her a hug each morning- that kid doesn't even go to their school! Just really kind individuals all around. So far I am so pleased with the care here. I hope more parents will write reviews to give this place the credit it deserves.

We absolutely love Chula Vista KinderCare!! We’ve been here for just over 6 months and the staff and the teachers are fantastic and communicative. Our toddler comes home singing songs he learned in class and gets to do art projects in his classroom that stimulate his creativity! We absolutely love the app they use and the teachers are amazing at taking pictures throughout the day so I can see my little one having fun (which is especially wonderful when I’m away and traveling for work!) Highly recommend!

Ms.Ana and Ms. Rosa don’t care about their staff they are always out of ratio putting and moving kids around, making us parents wait until their is another teacher. which in my opinion parents are paying for it to have teachers,but this talks about how their staff don’t last alot in their center. Not only that they don’t keep up with the school menu for children. Lack of communication with one another… other than that all the teachers in my children classroom are loving and make my child feel happy when joining every morning his classroom, also my children classroom doesn’t have enough toys to play. One teacher also comment me how they put a lot of children’s in the center so they can passed a certain date for the directors to get a bonus which in my opinion is unfair for all their staff since they are the ones always out of ratio. Ms. Emily is always a nice and understanding. I don’t recommend this center at all
