If I could write a review with 0 stars, I would. I’m writing this review so other parents can make fully informed decisions before enrolling their child. My 3-year-old son, who had known developmental delays, medical needs, and a history of elopement, experienced a serious safety incident while enrolled here. During the school day, he left the classroom, entered the main lobby, exited the building, and reached the parking lot. I was not notified at the time the incident occurred. Instead, I was informed at the end of the day during pickup. By that point, my child had become so overwhelmed and distressed that he pulled out a chunk of his own hair. I was handed a plastic bag containing his hair and an incident report, but again, no phone call or immediate notification was made when this was happening. On top of that, there were no director or assistant director signatures. Had I been contacted when the incident occurred, I would have picked him up immediately. The lack of supervision, delayed communication, and handling of the situation were deeply concerning—especially given my child’s age and vulnerabilities. This experience raised serious questions for me about supervision, crisis response, and parent notification procedures, particularly for children with additional needs. I strongly encourage parents—especially those with young children or children who need extra support—to ask detailed questions about supervision, elopement prevention, and emergency communication policies before enrolling here.

Our experience with this location and its staff has been wonderful. We recently had both our children enrolled here - our son attended for 2 years and graduated from Mr. Taylor’s Pre-K class, where they took the time to engage and prepared him wonderfully for Kindergarten! Our 7-year-old daughter participated in the summer care program. The summer program was thoughtfully organized, with engaging and creative themes and activities planned daily, making it a fun and memorable experience for all the children. What truly sets this location apart is its outstanding staff! Communication has always been seamless and responsive, regardless of the concern. Our son’s teachers consistently demonstrated genuine care, patience and professionalism- not only with our children but with all the students in their care. Their dedication and warmth have made a lasting impression on our family. We are incredibly grateful for the positive impact they’ve had on our children and will genuinely miss being part of this wonderful community! Keep up the smiles and positivity!

Candlewood KinderCare has truly been a remarkable experience for our family. It stands out as one of the best childcare centers I’ve encountered, especially for my 3-year-old daughter. Since she started attending, I’ve seen significant growth in her communication skills and social behavior. The improvement in her manners and confidence has been heartwarming to witness. The center offers a wonderful blend of fun and educational activities that keep her engaged and excited to learn. What I appreciate most, though, is the strong emphasis on safety and the sense of trust the staff builds with families. As a parent, knowing that my child is in a secure, nurturing environment means everything. The faculty at Candlewood KinderCare are exceptional. The director is always approachable, genuinely listens to parents' concerns, and fosters a positive, open atmosphere. Special thanks to Mr. Taylor and Miss Lisa—both have played a vital role in my daughter’s development, offering patience, encouragement, and thoughtful guidance. Because of the trust and care this center has earned, I plan to enroll my second daughter here as well. I’m confident she will thrive just as her sister has. My daughter's daycare closed & we had to find a new center. I toured multiple places & was getting discouraged but as soon as I walked into kindercare candlewood location I knew that was going to be our choice. My daughter has been going for a month now & I am sooooooo thankful I found them! Its a huge stressor to have a child in daycare these days but I feel like we have found a 2nd family at this center. I would recommend this center and staff to every parent if I could. Its been an amazing experience so far!

We absolutely love Candlewood Kindercare! The staff helped potty train our 2 year old (Shout out to Emily and Katelyn. Couldnt have done it without you!). We love the teachers and all of the faculty at Candlewood Kindercare. When its time for pick up, our girls always want to stay even though they've been there all day. Thanks to Linda(s) and Autumn and Cass and everyone who spends more time with our kiddos than we do. Hate to drop them off, but love knowing how well they are taken care of and how loved they are.
