Kindercare Learning Center - Old Salem

We came to KinderCare after having a horrible experience with another daycare provider, so we were a little hesitant at the start. My kids have been here just over a month and it has been the best experience ever. My son (4) is with Ms Kristy and he absolutely loves her! My son went from barely writing to being able to write his name, identify sight words, and just overall enjoy the “school” experience. My son is a busy body, and Ms Kristy makes sure to keep him on schedule and pack his day full of fun activities that keep him engaged. It used to be a fight to get him to go to school, let alone love it so much he’s excited everyday to go! My daughter (18 months) is with Ms Cheyanne. My daughter is very reserved and is hard to open up with new people. Day 2 of going here she was jumping out of my arms and going right to Ms Cheyanne! She’s always smiling in pictures, she has learned so much, and even on off days that she doesn’t go, when we go to pick my son up she’s wanting to go see Ms Cheyenne in her classroom. I can’t thank KinderCare enough for the care and patience they’ve shown my kids! Tammy and Laurie are always quick to respond to any messages and questions I may have. And, I will always give praise to Ms. Yvonne for making sure my kids eat the veggies she serves because we all know they refuse at home! Thank you!

My kids have gone here for 4 years now & I wouldn’t have wanted them to go anywhere else. The staff has grown to love all 3 of them, including my oldest who no longer attends, and my twins who will soon be leaving to go to preschool. My twins still look forward to going to daycare everyday to see Mrs. Velinda, Mrs. Kristy, and all of their friends. I do believe this daycare is rated 5 stars for a reason, & that’s why I choose this location for my kids. Their last day is approaching & it will be very bittersweet for all of us. They will remember these lovely ladies forever (:

I’ve been with this center for 7 years I’m most appreciative with consistency, special thanks to Ms Yvonne who has helped tremendously with my younger two kids in the infant/toddler room the babies love adore her, I always feel comfortable leaving her with my babies. Ms Velinda and Ms Kristie who has been with me for all 7 years helping with my kids once they enter preschool, they help with the curriculum and structure preparing them for kindergarten and do great! Ms Cheyenne does great with the infants and 1 year olds and Ms Laurie the assistant director who is in classrooms and have helped with all 3 of my children. There are a few more staff members I’m sure I’m leaving out but overall I feel safe knowing my children are cared for while I’m away

I truly cannot put into words how grateful I am for the incredible team at KinderCare. My son has been attending this center for years, and it has been nothing short of a blessing for our family. The care, dedication, and genuine love they show each child is something rare and so appreciated. I want to give a heartfelt thank you to Ms. Kristy, who currently has my son in her Pre-K class. She goes above and beyond every single day her patience, creativity, and passion for teaching shine through in everything she does. My son comes home smiling, excited to share all the new things he’s learned, and I know it’s because of the warm, engaging environment Ms. Kristy creates. I also want to recognize Ms. Velinda, who has been a constant support since the very beginning of our time at KinderCare. Even before my son was old enough to be in her class, she was always there helpful, approachable, and ready to answer any questions I had. When he finally joined her class, I knew he was in great hands. Ms. Velinda has a warm, motherly presence paired with the perfect balance of kindness and structure. She treats every child with fairness and care, always ensuring they feel valued while keeping a positive and respectful environment. No matter what I needed, she was always dependable, knowledgeable, and supportive. I’m so thankful for the role she’s played in both my son’s life and mine over the years. And I can’t forget Ms. Stacey, who had my son in his earlier years. She was such a wonderful influence, always patient, nurturing, and supportive during those critical stages of his growth. I am so thankful for the foundation she helped build. All three of these amazing teachers Ms. Kristy, Ms. Velinda, and Ms. Stacey have made a lasting impact, and I am so thankful for the love and support they’ve given my son. A very special thank you to Ms. Laurie we’ve known each other since my son’s very first day at KinderCare. She has been a constant source of support, kindness, and positivity throughout the years. Ms. Laurie has always made me feel like family, and knowing she’s there has given me so much peace of mind. She truly cares about every child and family that walks through the door, and her dedication does not go unnoticed. I also want to extend my gratitude to Ms. Tammy. Although she joined the center more recently, she has been nothing but wonderful—always welcoming, helpful, and supportive. It’s clear that she brings a positive energy and truly cares about the families and staff. One of the things I appreciate most is how well the center communicates on their KinderCare app throughout the day. I receive regular updates sometimes every other hour with detailed notes, pictures, and even videos of what my son is doing in class. From what he’s learning to what he’s eaten, how much he ate, and even how many times he’s gone to the restroom it’s all shared with care. These updates give me so much comfort during my workday, knowing exactly how my son is doing and seeing him happy, engaged, and well taken care of. It truly gives me peace of mind that he’s in the best hands. As a working parent, I can’t emphasize enough how much it means to have a place where I know my son is safe, cared for, and happy. The center’s flexible hours allow me to work without worry, and every day at pick-up, my son is full of stories, laughter, and smiles. That joy speaks volumes about the environment KinderCare has created. Thank you to everyone at the center for being such an important part of our lives. Your dedication, care, and positivity make all the difference, and I’m so grateful to be part of this amazing community!

I want to take the time to recognize , Ms.Tammy , Ms. Laurie , Ms.Cheyanne , Ms. Chantel and Ms. Stacey and . My son has been attending this daycare since he turned 1 and he will be 3 next month , and I was so scared about sending him anywhere . But everyone that I have listed , has loved my son like one of there own and has helped him learn so many things . I’m grateful for the patience and love they have shown him . I’m also grateful for any of the flat teachers that have stepped in as well . Nothing you all do goes unnoticed . It takes a village to raise children and I’m thankful for the staff at Kindercare being apart of that village . 10/10 would recommend this facility to any parents looking for great quality childcare
