Kindercare Learning Center

Sadly my daughter’s last day here was Aug.1st. My spouse and I cannot thank the staff, and teachers enough for all of the great teaching, guidance, and care that was provided for our daughter to get her prepared for transitioning to Tk at a new elementary school. This KinderCare provided the best learning environment, and there aren’t enough kind words to express our gratitude. We would also like to give a special thank you to the centers director Christina, and teachers Ms. Cassie, and Ms. Marry.

We've had both kids at Kindercare for 4 years now, since they were 4 months old. We absolutely love the teachers and staff! The director, Ms. Christina, is warm and always available for questions. The teachers have been excellent. We appreciate getting lots of photos every day and hearing details like what topic they're learning that day. I feel confident that our kids are in a caring, structured environment that enriches their development. The facility has had a lot of upgrades since our kids started - a new play structure, fence, building updates, and new toys that get cycled in to keep the kids interested. All in all, it's been a great experience. Thanks Kindercare team!

I like the diversity at Kindercare. I appreciate the communication from all of the teachers and photos! This is not a Spanish Immersion School. However, they do teacher some Spanish. My two-year-old can count to 10 in Spanish. My 4-year-old can count to 20 in Spanish.

I have both my girls at KinderCare and started my first one there about four and a half years ago when she was only six months old. We have built great relationships with all of the teachers and it feels like a small family there. Every teacher knows us by name, welcomes us when we walk in and treats us like we are family. The management also works very well together and trys to accommodate all requests whenever possible. I couldn't speak more highly of them and I think the best proof of that is that I trust them with my children and recommend them whenever possible.

We've been with kindercare for the last 4 years, starting with our son in the toddler classroom in 2015. Over the 4 years there has obviously been a bit of turnover with the teachers, along with getting a new director, but all in all we have had a really positive experience. Ms. Amanda is a great director who obviously cares and respects the children and the center. Our son could be moving on to T-K but we've made the decision to keep him at Kindercare because we feel he is learning so much and we need the additional childcare. His preschool teacher, Ms. Shekinah, is wonderful and he's blossomed into an outgoing and inquisitive boy who can write his letters and his name. They have enrichment programs which is amazing as well (new since ~2017), like STEM, cooking, phonics and music. We are very excited to see him grow as he moves into the Pre-K classroom. Our two other daughters are in the infant and discovery preschool classrooms. We love their teachers and feel like Kindercare is our home away from home. Ms. Errin is incredibly kind and loving, and treats the infants like she would her own. Ms. Olivia has been there for 5 years and the kids absolutely adore her. She stopped by our home one evening and our daughter nearly lost it she was so excited that her teacher was at our home. It is truly heartwarming to see our children so excited to go to school (there are still tears at drop off, but they are always happy by the time we pick them up). We have found that we can't pick our son up too early or else he gets upset and wants to stay longer. The only reason I gave the center 4 stars instead of 5 was because the facility itself is not amazing. It is definitely old (granted there has been a lot of effort to update the inside since we started there in 2015). I have toured many "nicer" looking facilities in the Martinez/Pleasant Hill area, but have stayed loyal to Kindercare because of the teachers/staff that work there. My children are safe and happy, which makes me feel secure going to work everyday.
