The South East is a tough place to find solidly Confessional Lutheran Churches. Prince of Peace (WELS) is a breath of fresh air in the region. The Pastor serves the congregation diligently, passionately, and confessionally each week. The sermons are preached authoritatively with Law and Gospel rightly divided. The Sunday School classes are warm and inviting and the teaching is solid. If you are looking for WELS/ELS church in the area, this one is worth the drive. The Divine Service is always Traditional Worship gathered around Word and Sacrament. May the LORD continue to bless this congregation.
I am a life long member of the Prince of Peace family. It is a very freindly atmosphere. It feels like you are sitting down with your family whenever you attend a Church function.
