What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise KinderCare Chester for its caring, professional staff and clean facilities. Multiple reviewers highlight improvements under new leadership and note that previous concerns have been resolved. Children are described as thriving socially and academically with enriching activities and strong teacher-parent communication.
I have had my two daughters( 1 yo, 3yo) here since July and we have had a great experience. I am aware that there is a new director and the issues and concerns of past reviews have been addressed. We have had none of the previously listed issues. It has been a great experience. I am very particular with who I entrust my children with as I kept both my kids home for a minimum of 1 year. I love the enriching activities they get to be a part of and the monthly calendar we receive. The teachers are amazing and truly create a comfortable environment for the kids. The teachers know all of the students even in other classrooms which makes it even more desirable. They have great nutrition and ample opportunity to learn and play. I would recommend doing a visit and seeing for yourself.
My son is in the infant class and we love it. The teachers listen to our needs and always help with any questions we have or when we need some extra support on a development milestone. They’ve helped us so much to reach his goals, most recently to stop drinking from a bottle and to switch to a sippy cup. I appreciate all that they do and am grateful for the care they give my baby boy.
The new principal of the center is wonderful, formal, affectionate, attentive, and extremely judicious, and concerned about the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the entire facility. Thank you for always trying to keep our children in the best conditions.
This place is absolutely phenomenal!! My daughter began attending KinderCare (Chester,VA) four years ago in the advanced four-year-old classroom with Ms. Lauren. She then transitioned to before and after school care during the school year and summer camp in the summer. I have nothing to say but great things about this facility. From the cleanliness, to this friendliness of the staff , to the amazing parents (like myself 😊), I highly recommend KinderCare to anyone that is in need of childcare. I have never had to worry about my daughter and her safety while she’s there. In addition, she’s treated fairly and most importantly the children are taught to respect each other and play together daily. My daughter sometimes require additional TLC, and hugs are given freely to her which she loves. On a daily basis, I interact with Ms. Amy, Ms. Tanya, Mr. T, and Ms. Amber and they are by far the best providers I have encountered ever. KinderCare now has an app which keeps me abreast of daily activities to include pictures which is comforting as a parent. Please schedule a visit to view the facility and meet the amazing staff. I promise you will not be disappointed and your child will love it as well!
I usually do not post reviews, but my experience at this center was unacceptable . The incompetence of the staff was truly baffling as there were times when they did not know if/when my child ate lunch. The director, Diana, consistently ignored my messages to discuss my child to where I had to call/message multiple times to get an update on anything. My child attended this center for 4 months and never once was there for a full week, as she was consistently singled out for being “sick” and being sent home when every time I took her to the doctors she was cleared to return the next day. The incompetence of the staff also leaks into the safety of the center as my daughter had an incident report multiple days of the week and came home with scratches and busted lips at times, as if she’s not being watched. Due to the neglect of this center I moved back to my hometown and enrolled my daughter into a more caring and competent center. If you can avoid enrolling your child into this center, PLEASE DO. As I hope this post brings light to the issues that I endured on a week to week basis.
