I’m writing this review because I believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and treated equally in their childcare environment. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed ongoing concerns in my daughter’s classroom with Ms. Natalie. It often seems like certain children are favored, while others are treated differently, which creates an uncomfortable atmosphere for the kids. Another major concern is the tone and volume frequently used when speaking to the children. There have been several instances where Ms. Natalie raises her voice or screams at the class, which I feel is inappropriate for 3–4-year-olds who are still learning, growing, and finding themselves. At this age, children need patience, consistency, and gentle guidance. I hope this feedback encourages positive changes, because the children deserve a nurturing and supportive environment where they all feel equally valued.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about KinderCare! It was a big adjustment for my daughter going from being home with me to starting preschool, but the staff showed so much patience and care, helping her feel comfortable, warm up, and eventually adjust to preschool. She absolutely thrived there; every day was full of learning, fun, and care. The teachers are truly amazing! Ms. Becca played such a special role in my daughter’s preschool experience; her patience, kindness, and encouragement made a huge difference in helping her feel comfortable and confident. Along with Ms. Caprese, Ms. Natalie, and the rest of the amazing team, they were so kind and supportive, and really helped her grow both academically and socially. I also want to highlight the assistant director, Ms. Ana, who was always approachable, supportive, and attentive to any concerns we had. Another special thank you to Ms. Maria, who handled food preparation with so much care and diligence because of my daughter’s food allergy. Now that she’s in TK, I can clearly see the benefits of her time at KinderCare; she’s confident, curious, and ready to learn. Her ability to adapt in a new classroom setting is a direct result of the foundation built at KinderCare. Highly recommend this preschool to any parent looking for a safe and nurturing environment! :)
Our little one has been attending Santee KinderCare for about 6 months now. We are beyond grateful for how great they have been. Firstly with dealing with us being so emotional at the first drop offs to now, helping us wean our little one to sippy cups and wearing shoes. The transition from the infant room to the toddler room is scary in general, but the staff has been great! They’re so sweet, and show so much love for our baby girl. We are so thankful for them! There’s no way we’d be able to work without them. They are our village.
We’ve been going to KinderCare for just about a year now, and It has been a wonderful experience. My son came in with a slight speech delay and a major push for KinderCare was the structured age appropriate curriculum. It has helped boost his language development. Plus there is a lot of time an activities spent outside and various art projects, he has made so many friends, and the teachers are wonderful and so invested in each child.
The director Monica is absolutely unprofessional and a mistake to have running this daycare. My older kids used to go here and when I wanted to enroll my baby I had to find a new place since she has clearly run this place into the ground. I’d say go elsewhere unless they bring in someone else. She has far too many kids with one adult in the classrooms that it’s so chaotic and no structure. I saw some lady asleep on the floor in her office, she was obviously trying to hide it with the blinds shut to her office. I caught a conversation between her and an employee in the hall and the way she spoke to them was horrifying. I’d recommend anywhere else until they replace her..
