Kindercare-Carlsbad Infant Center

This is a fantastic daycare center! Extremely well run by Mandy (Director). The teachers are excellent and take such good care of the kids. My daughter has attended since she was 4mo old (almost 2 now). Very clean. Staff is very communicative. Great curriculum and schedule. My daughter never napped well until she joined the Toddler Room. 10/10… can’t recommend this location enough!

We had our son enrolled at Poinsettia KinderCare starting at 6 months and we only withdrew him due to a relocation when he was 15 months. I cannot express how much we LOVED Poinsettia KinderCare. Our son truly thrived and as a first time parents, we felt so happy watching the director, assistant director and all the teachers love and care for our child the way they did. We truly felt like the Poinsettia team was part of our family and were so sad when we had to leave. I really loved Mandy's (center director) commitment to healthy meals and snacks for the children. We found that meals were always prepared items and not pre-packaged and highly processed. Same with snacks! This was important to us as we introduced our son to solid foods. This center goes out of their way to build a strong sense of community. They did summer events, toddler room art shows, and more where families were invited to come and participate and get involved. We became good friends with other families through these events too! Every day we would drop off our little one and he would be smiling when he entered the center. He would even hug the center director and assistant director goodbye at the end of the day. What Mandy and the Poinsettia KinderCare family have created is truly special. I cannot recommend this location enough!

I love Poinsettia KinderCare!! I know my son is in good, caring hands. My son has been at other daycare centers where it felt like they were just running a business. Here, you feel like you're part of a larger family. That culture starts from the top and permeates throughout. At Poinsettia KinderCare, we're lucky to have Mandy as the Director. She is warm, friendly, caring, and responsive. Thank you for taking care of our Charlie!!

I feel bad for the very nice teachers who have to deal with overcrowded classrooms, no real doors to separate classes, filthy floors, not enough support staff to take care of all the kids, and bad corporate management. Whenever I’d come to pick up my kid, no one knew where he was. Kids are shuffled randomly to different play yards based on short staffing. We had multiple incidents of falls and being pushed by other kids due to the conditions. Thank goodness we found another school after a few months. Poinsettia kindercare is the germiest daycare I’ve ever seen.

Kindercare was my kids first preschool experience and they integrated to the program perfectly. The teachers they were placed with took the time to get to know each of their personalities and how to make them comfortable in the space. We were in the 3 and 4 year old classrooms. The outside areas are spacious and it was a huge plus to not have to pack or worry about food throughout the day as they were fed lunch and 2 snacks. There was a period of time with a lot of teacher turnover but the center handled it well and made sure to communicate about the changes.
