I recently started bringing my two-year-old son here for a few hours a week, and I seriously love this place! I'm so glad we have something like this in Fresno. The staff is amazing—especially Ms. Shelby! We've only been a few times, but every visit we're greeted with such a warm welcome. This is my first time leaving my son at a daycare, so I was pretty nervous—mostly about how he’d react since he hasn’t spent much time around other kids. He was a little upset the first day, and the staff let me know they’re not set up for one-on-one care, but they’d call me if it got to be too much. I totally understood and told them I’d be nearby just in case. Turns out, he did great! He was all smiles when I picked him up. I think this place is perfect for kids who enjoy being around others and don’t need a lot of one-on-one attention. We’ll definitely keep coming back. Thank you to everyone for being so kind to my son!
When my little one is here I don’t worry at all because I know she is safe and will be taken care of. Since we came to Fresno in 2021 Kids Park has been a life saver! I don’t think we would have stayed if it wasn’t for this place. Ms. Sharla, Ms.Tanya, Haley, and Hadley’s mom ( can’t remember her name) are all amazing women. So grateful to have a safe place for my little one.
Not happy at all. They don’t put any effort with any kid and always short staffed. If any kid doesn’t act the way they expect them or if any kid loves a certain toy and wants to be in that station and play with it, they call you to pick them up. They expect 4 years to be so independent and understanding of all rules which the kids have no idea about. Then this lady calls you to tell you we have a special plan for your son; we will try 15 minutes at a time with him and I said ok but are you going to explain rules to him or be with him in a one to one or have a different approach and the answer is no. So if you complain about my son not listening and you are calling me to offer a plan, excuse that is not a plan. That you trying to be smart and saying your son is not allowed more than 15 minutes at a time. I don’t care if you are short staffed and impatient and have no skills dealing with any different kinds of kids. You can bring your other son. I am not bringing no one no more.
My daughter absolutely loves KidsPark. I highly recommend.
Before I go into it, I just want to be clear that I did read & understand the contract. Though I feel that although they say they can try & work with special needs children, it’s not the place for them, if your child needs “one on one attention” as they call it. If feel like we should have done a trial day instead of us paying the registration fee just to find out that my child isn’t going to be a good fit for their facility 2nd day in. I understand that they need to follow certain rules & criteria, but it seems as if they want the child to be as independent as possible. I’ve never experienced a place call me & tell me to come pick up my child because of her behaviors. Granted I know she dose have some behaviors but the way they were describing it, didn’t seem accurate. If you are not a parent with a special needs child, then you have absolutely no clue how hard it is to find good help. I thought this place was really going to be a great place for my child, but I am really disappointed. They said they tried but I don’t feel like they really did after 2 days. Just a heads up! Look for a place that will really value you & your special needs child & will really put in the time & effort.
