What Parents Say
Kids World Childcare receives mixed reviews with stark contrasts. Positive reviews praise flexible scheduling, accommodating staff, and responsive management under director Sarah. However, negative reviews raise serious safety concerns including inadequate supervision, failure to follow proper protocols after a child injury, and untrained staff.
Convenient hours for weekend workers and early morning shifts , Ms. sarah who manages the daycare is so patient and easy to speak to. Shes made the whole process of daycare, care4kids and pricing so much easier for me to understand when I was so flustered and confused about it all. The staff is great and very friendly. On rough mornings when my 6 year old is dragging her feet and refusing to brus her teeth ill pack her mouth care and the morning staff will make sure she brushes her teeth before school (which is a huge help to me ) . They even took a picture of my daughter getting on the bus for the first time and sent it to me. It really meant a lot to me because its something my little one has been excitedly talking about for years. Everyone here is really great about communication and doing fun activities with the kids, especially during summer time . I went here as a kid and I loved it and now 20 years later I have my daughter here . Im very happy that I chose and trusted this daycare for my daughter .
I have been using this daycare for almost 3 years now and I totally trust them with my kids! Besides the hours being great with my crazy work schedule, the staff has been awesome working with my kids especially during covid where they had to do distance learning! I would highly recommend them, the director does everything she can to have a great running program.
Ok, so this is not any fancy, top-notch Montessori or Waldorf type program... however, my child has been enrolled for many months now and she has always been well: safe, fed, changed, and as happy as I would expect her to be without me around. Most notably, they are extremely flexible and accommodating! and if you are a "real life" parent, then that counts for A LOT! They will work with your budget and schedule, allow half-days, long days, part-time, weekend etc - flexible enrollment. They work with your needs. I have NOT EVEN ONCE heard "no" to any of my reqests. Sarah, the director, and her staff as well, are always very pleasant, responsive and will work with your child's needs no matter what - this has been my experience so far. I would overall recommend this daycare for sure.
Yesterday my son was bitten in the neck by another child at this neglectful daycare; which was a bad enough bite, it drew blood! And I am very clearly outraged! I will not hide that or apologize for it. This is unacceptable behavior for any child at any age! The situation WAS NOT handled at all and the director Amanda at Kid's World Childcare has LITERALLY REFUSED to do anything about it and is justifying dropping proper protocol completely and are acting as if it is okay that protocol was dismissed. They did not clean his wound or cover it (he was still bleeding hours later when he was picked up) which lead it to become infected immediately and they also knowingly and purposely did NOT call me or emergency contact or his doctor! So I will be reporting this incident and them to DCF and contacting an attorney because it is a very serious situation that they are choosing to IGNORE completely and it's plain to see this will unfortunately happen to another child there soon. They are forcing my hand to remove my son, the victim, rather than the other child for his vicious behavior! The girls (And I mean girls, teenagers) who were supposed to be watching the children were otherwise preoccupied, not watching them and are NOT even trained to watch children! I did call to make a doctor's appt. for him and they were appalled that Kid's World Childcare even allowed this to happen, but more so that they REFUSED to take any action/protocol and want to see him immediately to check out, test and properly clean his wound! They also stated it isn't the first time they've seen incidents like this happen at this neglectful daycare and aren't surprised, but are SHOCKED they're still in business! It's all about the MONEY for them, not the children. THAT'S why!
They were the worst place ever. My grandson came home visibly shaken and crying. Now all I can do is hold him, he won’t let me out of his sight.
