What Parents Say
Bright Beginnings receives mixed reviews with strong praise from some parents and serious safety concerns from others. Positive reviewers highlight the caring staff, excellent director Alyssa, and child development. However, multiple negative reviews cite critical safety issues including children escaping the building, inadequate supervision, and inconsistent staffing.
I am very impressed by the kindness and caring nature of the staff at Bright Beginnings. Alyssa, the center director, is excellent. She is prompt in communications and works diligently to craft a curriculum worthy of each age range. My daughter is in the infant room and as a first time mom it was very difficult to send my child to daycare in the first place. The infant room teachers are patient and thorough. I greatly appreciate the center and recommend it to other parents in the Norwich area!
Both of my children have attended Bright Beginnings. We have attended 3 different childcare centers (2 in NY) and this one has proven to be far above the others. My children were not only well cared for and supported in their development but also loved. Alyssa the director goes above and beyond for each individual child.
Really good friendly daycare! Both my kids been there since babies. 4 & 3 now. They come home smarter and smarter everyday !!
Incompetent childcare staff. I went there with my friend to pick up her son after her son ran out of the building (which he should’ve NEVER been able to do. I walked in and the children where everywhere. In the bathroom in the fridge and the majority of the staff were in the back room in the AC watching tv with the smaller children. I do not at all recommend this place. They kicked out the little boy rather than fixing the safety measures and staffing competent people.
This place is the worst place to take your kids My son was kicked out because he ran out of the building which I don't think it's fair I believe if I'm paying my money every week they should be paying full attention to my son and the manager there Made up some story saying its for his safety reason BS Every week you see new faces so your kids never get to be comfortable with one person I'm glad that I don't have to take him there anymore My advice to the owner you need someone that has good work ethics someone that knows how to talk to people and work well with people...
