Edit: well now this one is closing. I’m curious as to what’s going on. I’m actually changing this to one star based on the zero communication with the closing of locations and not alerting parents that have paid registration fees or have pre paid hours. We had to transfer here because the Aurora/Centennial location closed. I will say when we dropped her there was only 1 other kid, which is far less than Aurora. But the workers/teachers that were there that day are far better than the new management and workers that were at Aurora over the last month or 2. Luckily we ended up not needing care, but another day we called this location around 2-3 pm several times with no answer at all. It just kept ringing. So we ended up not scheduling the day we thought we needed. Edit: well now this one is closing. I’m curious as to what’s going on. Based on previous reviews, no clue if they closed early or what was actually going on there. After what happened in Aurora... My worry now is booking online and showing up to be turned away or the the location be closed. So for us at this point, we need to make sure we get verbal confirmation. This is why I dropped it 1 star.
I called today and was reached by an incredibly rude woman at the front desk she was extremely rude she needs to be fired asap!!!!!I’ve never felt so disrespected over a phone asking if there were slots available for my 16 month old son ,and of course I’ve never used this drop in center before so I asked questions about the program ,and felt as if I was burdening her . So after all of the attitude she gave over the phone saying that my son would be alone at 6 pm with no context at all . I asked so nobody is gonna watch him at 6pm ??? She continues he will have someone watching him ,there just won’t be any kids.Told me how much everything would be after that rude interaction she asked so do you want to book for today? I let her know that I wouldn’t be and hung up . In what mind would I ever leave my child in the care of a facility with people who are so disrespectful and acted like they didn’t want to be there . Do better and hire more staff that actually care about their job instead of having employees being rude to new customers who have no clue how the KidsTown Drop in childcare Center works .
We have been using this center for over three years. The staff is wonderful. They are so good with my strong willed toddlers! I feel confident in the quality of care. My daughters are happy to go and have so much fun! They are engaged in activities--paint, bubbles, water tables, reading, slime, play dough, blocks silly songs and so many more. The learning opportunities are awesome! I have an unpredictable schedule and having a good place with great people that I can bring my little ones to, at a moments notice has been amazing. So thankful for Kids Town Parker!!
We have used KidsTown at Parker a couple times during the day when we first moved here and my daughter really loved it so we were excited to try it again for date nights. When I called this morning to ask when they would be closing, Nicole made it seem like it was a huge inconvenience for us to come this evening as she said they didn’t have any reservations after 6pm. She said they could be open until 8pm but that my daughter would be the only one there. She made it clear that she wanted to close early. So much for drop in care when YOU need it as they advertise…we won’t be coming back.
Kidstown is a life saver! I have four kiddos and have been taking my kids here for almost three years. When we first moved here, I didn't know anyone and after attempting to take all of the kids to various appointments, errands, and school activities, I decided to give Kidstown a try. It was such a stress reliever for me! I could take my older kids where they needed to go without having to stress about what the little kids were going to do. My toddlers LOVE going there. The staff has been super kind and friendly. And, I love that they're so diligent with their safety policies. I don't stress about whether my kids are safe or not while there. I use both the Parker and Castle Rock locations, and it's great because some of the employees work at both places so whichever one we go to, my kids have faces that they recognize. I really cannot say enough good things about Kidstown. If you haven't tried them and you're a busy mom with little kiddos, give them a shot! You will be so glad you did!!!
