Kids 'R' Kids Nc #13

My baby has been attending since he was 3months old and now approaching 2 years of age. The staff is friendly and environment is nice and clean. He is happy and we are glad to be apart of Kids R Kids.

This might be the worst daycare that I’ve sent my kids to. The facility is dirty and it always stinks. I would pick my child up in the evening and pull over after driving off to see if he pooped but he didn’t, the smell from his class just seeped into his clothes. Daycares aren’t the rosiest smelling but my kids have been in 4 others (from moving) and none of them reeked like this place. The sink in my sons class was disgusting. It had a microfilm and mildew build up like I’ve never seen. The floors always look so dirty, and the rugs in the classes look run through. My youngest son would cry almost everyday we dropped him off, he’s been going to daycare since 9 months and he would rarely cry at drop off, and since switching schools now he just walks right in. My youngest son also became a chronic biter here. I believe he was overstimulated from the environment (its loud and lacks structure), because since leaving the biting significantly decreased immediately and has now stopped. There’s rarely any order in the classrooms and they’re usually pretty messy. I know kids are messy and loud but this takes it to another level. I’d see multiple classrooms with toys, books, stuffies scattered all over the floor, which isn’t the case at the other centers we’ve been to. My oldest son still talks about how his teacher was mean to him and would yell, which makes me feel bad as a parent for trusting this place. I’ve even heard teachers yelling at kids, and saying abrasive comments. The wild part about that is they have cameras, and glass doors and walls for transparency so you’d think things like this wouldn’t happen, but in my opinion it seems worse than any place I’ve been to without cameras. Speaking of the cameras I had been requesting access for over a month to the playground camera, and never received it. I’d ask and follow up and still no access. Both of my children picked up screaming while they were there, and since leaving they dont scream at home anymore. They also watch too much tv for it to be a school. My son would come home asking to watch shows on YouTube that we never introduced him to. For the price, it’s definitely one of the worst schools. I’ve heard from other centers we toured that kids r kids generally is a good franchise, but they also shared some insights about this specific location that made everything make sense. The couple of bright spots was one of the center admins, and a couple of teachers, but they look like the life was getting sucked out of them. One of the teachers even said I understand when we told her we were leaving, without me telling her why. I wouldn’t recommend this center to anyone, it could be worse but for the most precious parts of you why let it be this much of a concern? But some people like it, they just might not know better is all I can assume.

My two boys (now 2 and 4) have been attending this daycare for the past two years, and I truly can’t say enough good things about it. The school has been an absolute blessing for our family. The staff is incredibly loving, patient, and excellent teachers. My kids are thriving. Communication is always clear and consistent, and anytime I’ve had a concern (which has been rare), it’s been addressed immediately and with care. One thing I appreciate is how they’ve been willing to work with me when I’ve needed flexibility. It’s clear they genuinely care about the children and the families they serve. Highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a nurturing, well-run, and supportive environment. Truly a great school! :)

They are the sweetest with my little one! I’m so thankful for a staff that truly cares and takes their time with each child as if they were their own. I was hesitant about leaving my 1-year-old for the first time—we both had separation anxiety—but the staff was incredibly patient and gentle with my daughter. They gave her extra love and cuddles to help her transition every morning, and now she loves getting dropped off! She knows her day will be filled with fun, and the staff will care for her just like we do at home. I also love all the thoughtful events, spirit days, and picture days. It’s great to be part of a daycare that encourages parent involvement and creates such a warm community. I toured many daycares, but none gave me the peace of mind and comfort that Kids ‘R’ Kids Concord did. They do an amazing job keeping the facility clean and welcoming, which I truly appreciate. The new playground and splash pad are fantastic features that make it even more exciting for the kids. Keep up the great work! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
