So so happy with this school ! Army deployed my daughter and they welcomed us like family so that my 2 and 4 year old Grandbabies have somewhere to go while I work here in Trinity . I’m so impressed with their schedules and cleaning protocols..The teachers are so friendly and thorough with everything. Great communication , super organized and ,professional, but also a family atmosphere ! I truly feel that they are safe and loved when I leave them there . I highly recommend Starfish scholars !
Both my girls (1 and 3 yo) attend Starfish and are THRIVING. When a local preschool unexpectedly closed last year, I was so anxious about starting somewhere fresh. All the staff and teachers at Starfish have been caring and friendly; simple amazing. My girls are learning so much too. My 3 yo already knows how to write her name! I wish I had started my girls here from the very beginning. Meals and snacks are also included, which gives me time back to spend with my girls! Thank you Starfish Scholars for accepting us with open arms and for all that you do for your staff and scholars!
I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Starfish Scholars. My son began attending when he was just 12 weeks old, and now, at 2 years old, he continues to thrive in their care. As a first-time mom, I was incredibly anxious and nervous about leaving my newborn in someone else's hands. But from the very beginning, Kayla and Maria went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and supported. Their warm, welcoming approach helped ease my fears and gave me the confidence I needed to return to work knowing my son was in great hands. The entire staff has consistently shown a deep commitment to the well-being and development of every child. Each teacher my son has had has been caring, attentive, and professional, and they’ve played such an important role in his early learning and social development. His current teacher, Ms. Ashley, is nothing short of incredible. Her love for her students is genuine and deeply felt. She treats each child as if they were her own, and the level of patience, kindness, and dedication she brings to the classroom is truly remarkable. Kayla and Maria’s leadership and dedication are evident in every aspect of the center. They work tirelessly to create a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment not only for the children but for the parents as well. Their communication is excellent, and they are always available to answer questions or provide updates, which gives me continued peace of mind. Starfish Scholars has become like a second home for our family, and I’m beyond grateful for the care and love they’ve shown my son over the past two years. I wholeheartedly recommend them to any parent looking for a childcare center that truly puts children first.
The staff and teachers truly care for my daughter and all of the kids as their own. My daughter is only one year old and smiles every day on the way in from the parking lot. That's how I know it's an amazing place!
We were originally from another daycare that closed down with little notice, and have been at Starfish for a year now. The school welcomed us with open arms, along with other families from our previous daycare. After being there for the past year, I have the utmost confidence in the teachers and staff. I trust my kids are safe and cared for in the school, especially with Ashley, Laura, Betty and Tiffany. There is a lot to be said that the VPK teachers have been at this school for 9 years. My son started the year not wanting to listen as much or write, and by the end of the year, he was writing his full name, numbers 1-40, and beginning to practice sight words. My advice is to get to know the teachers and staff at the school, and they will be able to help you and your family in the capacity you need. Give them a try! It's a great building to practice school skills - going to a cafeteria to eat lunch, outside for recess, a gym for play, etc.
