This review is NOT for the YMCA, but for the employee whose car is pictured with the review. Older guy who wouldn't get his eyes OFF OF HIS PHONE! The entire drive he was glued to his phone, even when in a school zone with kids crossing the street to get to the school, the one right down the road from the Y. Please DO BETTER and get your eyes off your phone, there is nothing that funny on your phone for you to be paying more attention to the tiny screen over cars and children that are around you!!
I took my children here too swim and have fun my daughter and my son were playing having fun until a life guard I don’t remember his name but he had ginger hair asked my daughter if she had done swimming on the other side (the one the teams use ) she said no the life guard said “before swimming here you need to do a lesson on that side “ my daughter nodded and came up to me saying that he said that I went too go talk to him and he said “it’s just the rules” than I said “that one if for teams right ?” He said yes but you need to practice I didn’t wanna fight with him so I went too go talk too the manager since he told me too I waited in line for about 10 minutes nope no Employee asked or even acted like I was there we just left . my son is 4 and my daughter is 9 I don’t agree with the rule of having too practice going in the pool! It should be for everyone we should not have to practice too swim? My daughter is trying to practice swimming that’s why she used the other pool . There is one pool for team and the other one should be for everyone . EVERYONE. You should not have to practice too get in a pool for everyone ?? There should be one team pool for the teams and the other one should be for family’s who are waiting for there children to finish the practice like if they haveyounger ones and the sad part is that we’ve been going there for 7 months and they didn’t care too tell us too do that before . There should be two people at the front desk .. also the basketball court there IS always teenagers taking up space or hogging basketball hoops look I love YMCA I’ve been going there every since I was a kid but it’s not fair
My granddaughter plays volleyball here. Very family friendly and clean. It's a safe environment where you relax and have fun.
I use the gym twice a week and really enjoy it. Sometimes I take a class as well. I like chair yoga.
I took advantage of the Nationwide YMCA membership while visiting my daughter's family in Florida. Great place to exercise! Friendly staff, nice variety of fitness classes. Lots of cardio equipment.
