Kids R Kids Avalon Park

My son took a long time to adapt to KRK. He had just turned 3 in July of last year and we enrolled him in the fall. He went through a couple of teachers in his class of toddlers before he landed his and my favorite - Ms. Valerie. She’s experienced, seasoned and knows how to care with love and praise yet still discipline in a manner that’s both effective and motherly. The kids communicate well with her and respect her. My son cried for well over a month daily and he now doesn’t want to disappoint her - she reassures him he’ll have a great day. She's a true asset to this establishment. In addition to having a teacher we adore - this childcare location also has Ms. Robin who’s part of the education department who helps facilitate amazing curriculum that engages my son. She took to helping him handle his big emotions along with Ms. Valerie for weeks and made sure he felt safe and loved whilst learning I will always be there for him and “come back.” Learning to step back and watch my son grow instead of always wanting to be a part of every moment has been a struggle for me, but I feel my son is very safe and loved at KRK of Avalon. Worth noting: If you love seeing your children’s art and things they’ve created at school - KRK is amazing about saving it, displaying it and ensuring it’s available for you upon pickup/dropoff. It makes being away from them definitely easier to handle. Also worth noting: You are allowed to walk your child to their classroom. This is big to me as a 90s child and I didn’t expect it but love this! The staff is attentive to who is picking children up and works to get to know you as well. It makes the whole experience feel comfortable.

We have been part of the Kids R Kids family for a few years, and I can say with total confidence that there is no better place for a child to grow. Three of my four children have come through this center, and the consistency of care we’ve experienced over the years is nothing short of incredible. Currently, our youngest is in the infant room, and as any parent knows, leaving a baby can be nerve-wracking. However, the teachers here made that transition so easy for us. They are incredibly attentive, gentle, and nurturing. I never feel like I’m just 'dropping her off'; I feel like I’m leaving her with family who truly loves her. They are so tuned in to her specific needs, from her nap schedule to her little milestones, and they always take the time to inform me of his day. The staff across the entire facility are consistently friendly and professional (Ms. Robin, at the front desk, always welcomes us with smile and goes out of her way to be kind to my family and I). It’s rare to find a team that maintains such high standards of warmth and energy year after year. Seeing how well-prepared my older children were for school (shout out to Ms. Holly!) thanks to this daycare made it a no brainer to send our youngest here as well. If you are looking for a place that offers a safe, loving, and high-quality environment from the infant stages all the way up, Kids R Kids is the gold standard. We are so grateful for the impact they’ve had on all our children!

Choosing a daycare is one of the most stressful decisions a parent can make, but Kids R Kids in Avalon has been a total blessing for our family. From the moment we walked in for a tour, we knew this place was different. What truly sets them apart is the incredible staff. Every single person we encounter, from the front desk to the classroom teachers, is exceptionally friendly, warm, and genuinely happy to be there. They greet my son by name every morning with such enthusiasm that he practically runs into their arms. The level of attentiveness is unmatched. They don't just watch the children; they truly know them. They notice the little things, like a new word he’s learned or a specific toy he’s been gravitating toward, and they always provide detailed, thoughtful updates at the end of the day. It is such a relief to go to work knowing he is in a nurturing environment where he isn't just a number, but a deeply cared-for individual. The teachers are patient, professional, and have a natural gift for making every child feel special. Since starting here, I’ve seen my son’s confidence and social skills blossom. We are so incredibly grateful for the peace of mind KRK gives us every day. If you want a place where your child will be loved, challenged, and supported, this is it!

Kids ‘R’ Kids Avalon Park has been an amazing place for my child. The teachers and staff truly go above and beyond every single day. They are patient, caring, and always make sure the children feel safe, happy, and supported. I love how they keep open communication with parents and always update us about our child’s day, progress, and activities. The classrooms are clean, organized, and full of fun learning opportunities. My child has grown so much socially and academically since starting here, and I can see how much effort the team puts into making each day meaningful. What I appreciate most is the genuine love they have for the kids. It feels like a second home for my child, and that peace of mind is priceless. I’m truly grateful for everyone at Kids ‘R’ Kids Avalon Park and highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a safe, caring, and educational environment.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this daycare. In my opinion, the environment is unprofessional and not supportive of all children—especially those with different needs. Throughout my time there, I witnessed behavior from staff that felt dismissive and lacking in compassion. I also often heard staff speak negatively about children and their families when they were not around, which made me very uncomfortable and raised major concerns about the company’s ethics and professionalism. Whether they realize it or not, their attitudes create an environment that does not feel inclusive, respectful, or child-centered. Based on what I saw and experienced, I would not recommend this daycare to families looking for a nurturing and accepting place for their children. There are far better options out there with staff who truly value every child and treat families with the respect they deserve.
