We have had a wonderful experience with the staff here the past 3 years. The building always looks cleaned and well maintained. We have always had great communication with everyone from the front staff and all teachers. My child has loved all of her teachers since day one. They have a variety of learning and teaching activities, meals and snacks. I know my child is in good hands here.

I absolutely love this center! My daughter loves going to school everyday and has a smile before and after school! The staff is always pleasant to deal with and teachers care of the children. On top of that it is always clean and you can smell the cleanliness when you walk in the door! Out of my 3 children my youngest is the first to go to a daycare and I’m blessed we found this one!

My son attended Kids ‘R’ Kids for approximately one year. At the time, it was the most suitable option for our family. Since then, the surrounding area has continued to develop, with newer schools opening and raising expectations for childcare standards in 2025–2026. This review is not meant to single out or attack any individual staff member. It is intended to highlight operational and management-level concerns that, if addressed, could help the school improve and remain competitive. The most ongoing issue was lack of effective communication. Concerns were often acknowledged verbally, but rarely followed by meaningful action or clear resolution. It frequently felt like feedback was heard simply to appease parents, not to create change. Daily communication about meals, snacks, classroom placement, and transitions was inconsistent, leaving parents unsure of what their child ate, where they were during the day, or what activities they participated in. Security and safety practices felt outdated. Parents have no access to video cameras or the ability to review footage when concerns arise. In the event of an incident, illness, or potential outbreak, parents were not given enough transparency to feel fully confident about their child’s safety. Entry procedures relied heavily on shared access codes and personal judgment rather than modern, layered security measures. Additionally, announcing children’s names out loud when a parent’s car pulls up is a serious security concern and should not be standard practice. Regarding daily judgment, while state guidelines may allow children to go outside in certain temperatures, discretion should still be used. Just because something is permitted does not always mean it is appropriate, especially during very cold weather. Parents expect thoughtful decision-making and clear communication. There also appeared to be a disconnect between upper management and classroom staff. Frontline teachers regularly handled upset children and daily challenges, while leadership often remained disengaged in the front office. This gave the impression that staff were left to manage difficult situations without adequate leadership support. Experience in the field is valuable, but childcare expectations have evolved, and leadership approaches must evolve as well. Professionalism in parent communication needs improvement. Policies and expectations were sometimes communicated through informal signs posted around the building rather than professionally written emails or notices on official letterhead. Parents should be addressed as partners and adults. Emails should be reviewed before sending, and all communication should be clear, consistent, and professional. Kids ‘R’ Kids has potential, but meaningful updates are needed in communication, security, leadership involvement, and overall professionalism. This feedback is shared with the hope that management will take it seriously and make the necessary changes to better support families the community!
