Multiple families report multi-year enrollments and high trust in the center's operations.
My daughter started at this location at six weeks old when I had to return to work, and just wrapped up her time here to start Kindergarten. After six years, I can truly say that I always genuinely trusted that she was is the best hands. The director, Bri, and other management and front desk staff, Tessa and Janie to name a few, are thorough and dedicated to ensuring that the facility is extremely well run. They navigated the COVID pandemic seemingly flawlessly, which probably says enough in itself. Not only that but their additional staff are very well trained and most of them are tenured - many have been here for close to or over a decade. As a manager myself, this speaks volume to the level of training, professionalism and leadership. Her Pre-K teachers, Liliana and Sonia, did a tremendous job preparing her for Kinder. Her teachers before them showered her with love and attention, ensuring she was always ready to elevate to the next class. We had nothing but wonderful experiences with every teacher and in each class. Now, she’s already exceeding expectations in elementary. So, if you’re looking for reliable, consistent, and trustworthy childcare, where you can be away from your baby(s) with the relief of knowing they’re safe and happy, this is it! I can’t recommend them enough and we are forever grateful for our “second village”!
I have two young children that have attended this facility for over two years now. They have rotated from the infant rooms into the toddler rooms and beyond. I can say, without a shadow of the doubt, quality of care, the cleanliness of the facility, the devotion of the teachers and the dedication for consistent growth and development are only some of the things that make this daycare one of the best in the area. From the leadership to the individual teachers, I truly feel that my children are cared for. They know everyone’s names, they will answer any question or make any accommodation, and they truly take feedback constructively! I would highly recommend this location over and over again.
My children and I have attended this daycare for roughly 3years now. This is by far the best childcare facility I have seen. Outside of the safety measures taken here; it is clean. Actually clean for daytime care! The organization of this place is outstanding. Nothing goes without notice here. Not only is this a place for child growth, this facility follows state and federal guidelines with no exception. My kids love it! The teachers work hard to make sure every child’s needs are met and accommodated for. These teachers look at these babies and children like they are one of their own; They really take the time to know these kids. There are some loving, creative, good teachers here. Children are placed in their classrooms by age and get taught actual curriculum to help meet milestones of child development. A child’s individual milestones are tracked with progress reports for the next class and so-on. This place makes learning fun! The directors are amazing- friendly, understanding, kind and take good care of their staff. I have not seen this quality of care at any other place. I would recommend this daycare to anyone looking.
I don’t leave many reviews, so when I do, it definitely means something. KRK of McKinney off Eldorado has been nothing less than amazing for the entirety of my little one’s daycare needs- we started here in October of 2019 and are so sad that our time with them has come to an end this summer. Bri and Tessa (and all of the teachers and staff) have treated my kids like their own. I’ve always been notified of anything that has happened during the day that might be of concern. The video cameras helped ease my mind when we first started and I was so worried about leaving my babies with strangers. We have made life long friends here, including staff. I’m so grateful we found them on our first try, and so sad to leave them now that my kids have grown. As long as Bri and Tessa are here, I will always recommend this KRK location to anybody looking in this area. I cannot thank them enough!
I am not one to typically write a review but I feel that it is important to share insight when it comes to caring for your child, and in retrospect it would have helped me. I chose to send my baby here based on the tour I took, reviews (albeit a year old) and convenience of location. Unfortunately I withdrew her after only one month because of the quality of care. On the tour I was told she would have her own crib for naps, and be given a curriculum for activities but since the beginning of being here, she and other babies are left in the loungers or swings if they fall asleep. I was told they get fussy if they are picked up and eventually I gave in because I didn’t want her to be treated differently. Only one time did I witness on the poor quality cameras that she was put to do tummy time for a few minutes. Otherwise it was just a rotation between floor mat, skip hop, lounger (where she spent most of her time) and swing until it was time for bottles and diaper changes. My husband would drop her off in the mornings and on multiple occasions they were playing country music, or other music not geared towards children. The staff did not greet him by name and he was told to “just leave her on the mat” upon drop off. They merge the classrooms before the teacher arrives which isn’t until 9 or 10am on some days and at that point have 8 babies and it appears they are always overwhelmed. I would say 1 star Is for the infant teachers empathy and kind demeanor. She was the only person I felt comfortable with. I knew we had to make a change when my mother visited and told me that babies are left to cry for long periods of time. The director did reach out after my mom made her opinion known, and it appeared they were making efforts to change. It was too little and too late for us but I do hope they do this for the sake of the other babies. Fortunately my husband works from home and considered watching her until I talked to other moms and came across many other daycares with superior care. Now my baby girl is thriving in her current daycare. She has done more activities in one day then the entire time she was at Kids r Kids. They play kids songs, read books, take her outside, give her options for teethers, sit her up to look in the mirror, do artwork with the babies, sensory toys, and I could go on. The curriculum is posted and I am able to see what she is going to do on a weekly basis. Not only are there better cameras but I also receive multiple videos and photos during the day and I receive personal updates on how she is doing. She is put in a sleep sack and in a crib for every nap and comes home happy and not fussy like before. I hope this helps other moms and can stir a change for the better.
