We have been using Kids Kastle for my now 7 year old since she was 3. She is on the spectrum and he didn't have a lot of communication at that age. I was terrified of her being in daycare. She also attended Mehlville School Districts early childhood program 4 days a week part-time. Ms. Ashley, Mr. Tonio and all of the teachers there were so accommodations to her schedule the 3 years in early childhood. They are so good with her. Even when she had low communication ability they would communicate with me every evening how her transition on and off the bus went. If she ate her lunch, if she actually slept and how her overall day went. They were so in tune with her development that they would be so excited at any new skills she learned. My daughter struggles with social interactions, they always help her to have good interactions with kids there. I love this place and the place they have had in my daughter's growth! Thank you Kids Kastle!!!
We have been going there about 6 months with our 3 year old. We just recently brought our 4 yr old in and he had a bad diaper rash. We followed all proper precautions and methods and it's almost completely gone. Ashley, the owner, called in a cps claim for both kids about personal hygiene. We have been up front and honest with her, and have been working with cps for 18 months. They said today there was no concern. For Ashley to go behind our back, report us to CPS, without any reasonable cause, all to get rid of my 4 year old because he is in his "difficult" stage, is unprofessional and unnecessary. I highly suggest that if someone is looking for a day care for their child, this place should be your last resort. They sit them in front of a TV color (only if the child knows how already) and feed them a snack instead of an actual lunch. My kids were there for 12 hours and got an "afternoon snack" to eat all day. If they are difficult, they put the child in the room with the infants and tottlers all day. I would give zero stars but it won't let me. If your child isn't very verbal and won't speak up, be careful, and watch them like a hawk. Some of the "teachers" have noticeably short fuses.
I have found Kids Kastle to be very clean and efficient with caring/loving teachers. The children are all provided with healthy, nutritious meals and snacks and they get to play outside in a fenced yard weather permitting. This Grandma is very happy with Kids Kastle.
I used to go to this daycare and knew the (short time) owners very well. The owners were very nice a wonderful family, but the daycare was a complete different story. They separate age groups and force the older children to maintain a almost mute voice volume whilst the children up above were napping. granted, the meals, and entertainment was enjoyable(for older children). Another thing to mention is that the oldest age group has a severe bullying problem. they also have absolutely no accommodations to children with ADD,ADHD,OCD,ASD,attachment issues, and ODD. Overall for the children that are younger or don't have disorders are well off but anyone with disorders or are older. It's absolute hell. Also no matter how old you are, you get time out and sit in a corner.
I struggled hard with finding a daycare that made me feel comfortable to leave my kids with them. To say I love thia place and the kids kastle family would be an understatement. They are awesome and me and my children are so happy we found them!!!
