Kids Kampus Child Care Center

Do not use Kids Campus South, in all honesty do not use either because they are both under the same ownership. I originally was not going to post this until the situation was confirmed to me by Childcare licensing. While they have had a lot of drama over various things, I have never had a concern about my child's safety with them until the new director Brianna. Previously there was a teacher that I had a suspicion was doing something to my child but before I could bring it up she was gone. I knew when I dropped my children off, even if it wasn't the most organized, that it was a safe place for my children. It was like dropping her off with family. Some of you may have been at the meeting and heard me speak out but were too scared to ask what was going on so I am now going to be the voice to protect these children. A teacher with the school age children HIT A CHILD in front of the other students. That teacher also had her mother come up there and threaten the children with the cops and CPS. I do have the teachers name but I will not be releasing that because it is actively under investigation. The director Brianna and the owner hired the teacher back because the teacher's mom is friends with Brianna. The previous director had terminated her for this conduct to protect the children. Brianna has stated that she has known this teacher and does not believe that it happened even though she was not there. She is knowingly and willfully putting our children in danger! For anybody that has questions you are welcome to reach out to me on Facebook or call childcare licensing and they will inform you that the investigation is ongoing and that the teacher IS re-hired as they told me and multiple other parents today. My children will NEVER step foot on that property again. I hope that the director who is choosing her best friend over our children's safety gets her due justice and never works with children again. She stood in front of the parents, who's child was attacked, and preached about how she "wants the children to be safe in her care" but never disclosed that she hired the girl that hit their child. I stood up in the way I did because they are clearly trying to hide the truth of the danger they are putting our children in and everyone has a right to know. She then turned to me and told me that informing everyone was INAPPROPRIATE because children were present but had just talked bad about the previous director in front of everyone. She didn't like it because SHE was being called out for her own dangers towards children, please be aware and protect your children. It is our job to protect our children. The owner, director and that teacher do not care about our children'

I know it’s hard to get in to facility but please let this daycare be your LAST resort. I have recently learned that a teacher is getting hired back after being fired from the previous director(who was also demoted on maternity leave by the owner)for hitting a child and is under investigation. How can you in good conscience put children’s safety at risk? Yes, there was room for improvements before but this is a new low. The owner has no clue about childcare and is letting this happen as well.

Kids Kampus South is a great daycare for kids and after school care. My kids attended this same daycare in 2005 whenever they were younger & now my nephew goes to it today. I’ve never had any issues at Kids Kampus. The director Brianna is AWESOME! She handles any concerns & questions I may have. She is there for my nephew whenever I am unavailable and I appreciate her for that. The teachers are all great too! They have helped him a lot with learning and potty training. I would recommend Kids Kampus it’s one of the the best daycare facilities in Abilene!! 10/10 recommend❤️

I found out today that a teacher is throwing toys at the kids. During nap time she is stepping on their fingers. Laughing at the kids when other kids push them. My grandson comes home with a knot on his head from being push by another child just to find out that the teacher was laughing at him. I was also notified that one teacher was fired for hitting a child and they re-hired her back. Now we have to find a babysitter for 5 of my grandkids bc we will not send them to a daycare that allows this behavior. I will not stop by just writing a review.

My two adopted children attend this daycare and as a mom of a non verbal son I cant express the comfort I have leaving my children in their care. The directors are amazing. The facility is clean and always smells good, the teachers are very nice , caring and professional. Would Highly recommend Kids Kampus South to anyone who is looking for a great daycare.
