The center is noted for clean facilities, engaging activities, fresh on-site meals, small class sizes, and strong communication with parents through daily updates.
We absolutely love this daycare! My son has been attending since he was 6 months old and is now 1½. The staff is professional, kind, and attentive, and they truly care about each child — they know all the kids by name and treat them like family. I love seeing how much he has grown and learned, and the fun holiday activities make it even more special. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend this location. Notably: -Jerica and her staff are highly attentive and caring -The space is well-maintained and clean -The activities are engaging and varied day-to-day (art projects, music/dancing, reading, sign language, Spanish, etc) -The class sizes are relatively small so you can really tell your children are getting individualized care -Food is freshly prepared on site each day, meals are healthy and balanced, canned/processed foods are avoided, various dietary preferences are accommodated -Multiple daily updates on your child’s daily activities through an app -Secure premises with code-locked doors, etc -Competitively priced, accepts state childcare subsidies Very happy with our experience so far (18 month-old, enrolled about 3 months now)
My son has been attending this center for almost a year and we’ve really enjoyed our experience. Over the course of the year the kids have done fun art projects, had a visit from firefighters, and an exotic zoo. The staff also had a scholastic book fair, cultural night, and always has fun holiday celebrations. Jerica and Sebastian always greet you with a smile and keep parents regularly updated. My son is in Miss Ari’s class and he loves her. She is great with the kiddos. She is very emphatic, patient, and caring. She has also been a tremendous help with potty training. His classroom is also cleaned daily. Overall I am very happy with our experience here and would recommend.
Our son attended Kids Country for about 2.5 months, and we ended up pulling him out because we no longer felt he was safe there. The pre-toddler playground is all asphalt, which is dangerous for kids learning to walk. Our son had over 13 incidents, some serious enough to leave marks, and a few were not even noticed by staff. Cleanliness was also a major issue. Classrooms are carpeted, yet no one uses indoor shoes, and the rooms never felt properly cleaned. My son was sick constantly, and many mornings his breakfast chair was still dirty from the previous day. Supervision was concerning as well. One staff member clearly struggled to care for the children but was still regularly covering morning hours. Overall, the care felt careless and disorganized. We are very relieved we moved our son to a new center where he is finally safe, cared for, and happy. Our experience at Kids Country was unfortunately the worst childcare experience we have ever had, and I hope sharing this helps other parents make an informed decision.
We had a very disappointing experience with this center. During our little one’s eight weeks there, he received more than ten incident reports, including a couple where staff could not even explain what had happened, which raised serious concerns about consistent supervision. We had multiple serious conversations and follow ups with the director, and although improvements were promised, nothing actually changed. We were also concerned about the overall hygiene of the center. Our little one was continuously sick during his time there, and I mean that quite literally. Another issue that frustrated me was seeing a teacher refuse to offer a certain food to my baby because he had declined it previously. They did not seem to understand that all children should be offered the same food, regardless of whether they accept it every time. We moved our little one to a different center, and he is noticeably happier and healthier, with zero incidents after two months.
