I DO NOT recommend this daycare at all. They claim to transport kids to school and bill DHS for it. What they’re billing DHS for is supposed to be transportation to the daycare from your HOME. They will tell you on the phone what lie to tell DHS to get it set up. They transport out of personal vehicles, some with no tags. A male driver transported my 4 year old to preschool and she was almost 50 minutes late with NO communication or explanation. The owner, LaShawn, then told me they could not transport her in the afternoon- 30 minutes after school was already out. When I rushed to pick her up from school, the daycare DID in fact pick her up and then take her to another daycare location. Lashawn was rude and unprofessional. The families are your clients and you run a business. You should act like it. Instead, she wanted to tell me “maybe” they’ll fill out a report for the first issue but it was a “transition” and that I should allow room for error. I don’t allow room for error when it comes to my children’s lives, as I’m sure she wouldn’t with hers either. Complete lack of accountability, lack of empathy and concern, and LACK OF RESPONSIBILITY when you get paid to make sure children are safe. This will DEFINITELY be investigated- with a big emphasis on their transportation. I have never experienced this with a daycare EVER and I’m very seasoned. Please consider ANY and ALL other daycares before looking at this one.
