Kids Academy LLC

This place before closing many times would have an adult drive kids to the parks around town (let parents know last minute, if at all) which park they’d be at but would leave the kids at the parks with “teachers” under the age of 21. The bus and adult of age would be driven back to the daycare leaving the kids at the parks with no way of transportation if anyone was injured while at the parks. We showed up and both underage teachers were on their phones. They think/thought they didn’t need multiple permission slips to take our kids to multiple different parks. Some days they’d be in owasso at a park of their choice or in Tulsa. If we parents didn’t want our child outside of collinsville we should have that opportunity to make that decision. Each park that may be a place you would take the kids should be signed for not just 1 permission slip that gives the okay to take the child/children to wherever the daycare chooses. Nor is 2 weeks a good enough notice of the place going out of business for parents to find childcare. No one was there in the morning at drop off that could give answers to any questions. We should not only have to call someone with answers should be there at opening and closing for any and all parents questions and concerns. The place smelled like mold/mildew. They constantly had a leak from rain. Many other problems with how it was ran with employees as well.

I had my boys there for a short 4 months.. I love the Director and a few of the teachers that loved my kids that was there..but once she and those teachers left I pulled my kids.. they have people in there that don't have there background checks, no CDL driver to take kids to school and no qualified cook.. the teachers are mean and rude. My 5 month old was treated wrong by someone that should of never been employed at a daycare.. horrible place to send kids.

Do yourself a favor and go read the DHS complaints on this daycare before sending your kid here. This place should be shut down. They hire employees with absolutely no interview and put them in classes with kids with zero training or instruction. They don't know the kids names, how to clean, or what to do. There is no lesson plan. They say they wash the baby bottles between feedings but they are absolutely disgusting. So many issues and no guidance from any sort of management.

One of my daughters has been attending kids academy since she was 6 months old and my other since 6 weeks. These women EVERY ONE of them has made me feel like my children are in safe and caring hands. I know babies are loved on and taught right from wrong. They teach your child... Not only the required but above and beyond. If you are looking for somewhere safe for your children to be while they can't be with you Kids Academy would be the only place to go.

Although there are a few really sweet ladies that work there and handled my daughter with care and compassion; I would not recommend Kids Academy for childcare. There were a number of incidences that weren't handled with integrity and honesty and excuses just were made. The last incident was awful. My daughter was left in a soiled diaper so long she developed blisters from it. Neglect. 100%. They reassured me that they fired the girl who was supposed to be looking after my daughter, but it still doesn't matter. As a parent you want to believe that your kids are being looked after and taken care of. Not the opposite. I am sorry for those select few wonderful women there because they were great with my daughter, but for the facility as a whole. NO!
