I will admit I was happy with the young lady at the front desk, she’s very warm and friendly That’s where it ends, I went off the reviews & my visitation to the center. Apparently I went on a great day. Let’s start by saying the director ( air quotes) isn’t involving at all, she’s very unprofessional, the way she answers questions with a snippet attitude. No compassion at all. she was late opening the center on 3 occasions within 2 weeks of my granddaughter attending only for those 2 weeks. We immediately took her out after a knot on her head, a scratch above her eye, which got infected and required antibiotics. And a very bad RV infection. All this in a 2 week period. I found it very difficult to believe these other reviews are true. Mine most definitely is!!!! No I wouldn’t recommend this daycare

I would not recommend this daycare. The focus does not appear to be on education or development, but simply on basic supervision. On one occasion, I witnessed a staff member yelling at a child in a very inappropriate manner while outside. There are several operational issues as well. Parents are not allowed to drop children off if arriving even a few minutes late, regardless of circumstances, which caused me significant challenges with my job. Despite paying for a full week, there is no grace period, and the director has been dismissive and unprofessional in handling concerns. Parking is also very limited, making drop-off and pick-up difficult. Additionally, I found inconsistencies in what is advertised versus what is provided. For example, uniforms were said to be included but were never given. Daily updates in the parent portal are misleading, as entries are often recorded at the end of the day rather than in real time. Safety is also a concern. The front door is often left unlocked, leaving children vulnerable. From my child’s experience, she comes home full of unused energy because she spends most of the day lying down instead of engaging in activities. Some of the food choices are questionable for young children( such as grapes), and the staff do not come across as warm or nurturing. Overall, I do not feel this daycare provides a safe, supportive, or educational environment

The best thing I could’ve done was enroll my daughter in this academy. She has truly been blossoming and learning so much since she first enrolled. Very professional and caring staff. I plan to keep her here for as long as possible!

I couldn’t be happier with this daycare. From the moment we enrolled our children, the staff made us feel welcome and supported. They are incredibly caring, professional, and attentive to each child’s needs. The environment is always clean, safe, and filled with engaging activities that help the kids learn and grow every day. My children absolutely love going there they come home happy, excited, and full of stories about what they did. It gives me great peace of mind knowing they are in such good hands. I truly appreciate the dedication and love the team puts into their work. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a nurturing and trustworthy place for their children.

We absolutely love Bright Star Kids Academy - Midtown! From day one, the staff has been warm, professional, and incredibly caring. Our child looks forward to going every day, which says so much about the environment they’ve created.The teachers are not only kind and patient but also highly skilled in early childhood development. We’ve noticed amazing progress in our child’s communication, social skills, and confidence. They truly make learning fun and meaningful. The center is always clean, well-organized, and secure. We also appreciate the daily updates through their app—seeing photos and notes about our child’s activities gives us such peace of mind. Bright Star Kids Academy is more than just a daycare; it’s a place where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged to grow. We’re so grateful for the entire team and highly recommend them to any family in Midtown Atlanta.
