My son absolutely loves his daycare, and we couldn’t be happier with the care he receives. His teacher, Ms. Janelise, is truly wonderful—we love her! She is warm, patient, and so dedicated to helping him grow. Every day, I can see how well cared for he is, and it gives me so much peace knowing he’s in such good hands. Since starting here, he has progressed so much in his learning. He’s picking up new things every day, and it’s amazing to see how excited he is to share what he’s learned. The entire team is incredibly supportive and truly invested in his development. We are so grateful for this daycare and especially for Ms. Janelise for making his experience such a positive one. Highly recommend!

I recently enrolled my three children (4 years, 2.5 years, and 12 months) at Kiddie Academy of Grand Harbor, and it has been absolutely WONDERFUL. Everyone is so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The teachers and staff are incredibly nurturing, and you can tell they truly care about the kids. This place genuinely feels like family. I’m so grateful to have found such a warm and supportive environment for my children.

My family and I are new to Kiddie Academy of Grand Harbor, and I am beyond grateful for the teachers and staff. This is the first time one of my children has been in childcare and a brand-new environment for my other two, but thanks to the patience, care, and support from the teachers and staff, all of my children have transitioned so well. We truly appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere they’ve created.

paid for my child to attend School and expecting safe, professional care. Instead, my child was assigned to a caregiver who is not certified, and the school ignored my concerns and requests for a refund. This is unacceptable — children deserve qualified supervision. Parents, please verify staff credentials before enrolling. I hope the school takes responsibility and resolves this, but I cannot recommend them at this time.

Unfortunately, our experience didn’t match what was presented during the tour or in initial conversations. While the daycare emphasizes its structure and experienced staff, I didn’t observe much consistency or organization, especially in the infant room. A lot of emphasis was placed on how long certain teachers have been in their roles. For example, Ms. Eileen has been caring for infants for over 10 years. While experience can be a strength, it doesn’t always reflect current attentiveness or adaptability. In our case, Ms. Eileen was never mean or neglectful, but she often had trouble understanding the specific instructions I gave regarding my child's care. The lack of comprehension was frustrating and made me feel uneasy as a parent, especially when it led to my child's routine not being followed. The other two teachers in the infant room seemed young and just not trained enough. In general, when something with my child didn’t work or if my child responded differently than expected, they wouldn’t try another approach or take the time to learn what they needed. Instead, they would just move on, and I don’t believe that’s an effective way to care for babies because babies need individualized attention and careful to detail. Throughout the day, I often saw a lack of smooth flow while watching on the classroom cameras, which made me feel anxious and unsure about the level of care. I also didn’t observe strong observational skills from any of the staff in that room. The tour was quick and upbeat, with the director (Jenna) highlighting all the right things, but once enrolled, the environment felt more like a go-with-the-flow situation. Jenna also does not have the greatest attitude. I didn’t feel there was strong follow-through, and I couldn’t fully trust the care being provided. This center would benefit from much stronger communication, hands-on training, and a more thoughtful approach to infant care.
