Children’s Choice Learning Center has been such a blessing for our family. Our daughter genuinely enjoys going—she even tries to say “day care” herself (it comes out adorably like “day cah” or “day cahhh” which we’re 99% sure means daycare 🥹). It’s clear she feels safe, happy, and stimulated here. She loves the environment, the caregivers are attentive and kind, and we can tell she’s building confidence and social skills every day. Knowing she looks forward to being there gives us so much peace of mind. We are incredibly grateful for this center and highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing, trustworthy daycare. 💛
My first week my 2 month old attended, she was hit in the head with a toy by an older, mobile baby while unattended on the carpet. Various things continued to happen from my baby not being fed for hours to her having a bruise on her nose from being unattended during tummy time. I know things happen but I just wanted them to be cautious and use their brains in situations that could be potentially dangerous for mybaby who was not yet mobile. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen and I had to make a decision to leave this center. I wish we could have made it work because there are some awesome people there but ultimately my child’s safety was on the line. Update: when my child was as hit on the head, just like I told you that day, that situation was completely preventable. My daughter was 2 months, why would you have her unsupervised on the carpet with mobile babies! That’s what I told you, practice care and use common sense when it comes to my child or any child up there. Now with the tummy time situation I’m sure she was unsupervised again. My baby wasn’t scooting on her tummy at 2-3 months, that is a lie. And the bigger problem is that nobody reported her injury to me. I took her home and saw the bruise and had to call up there to find out. Yall had to look at the camera to find out, that’s why I’m almost certain she was unsupervised. You all wanted to use my daughter as a guinea pig for when something happened, then you would tell me you would change things. Just put best practices in place now!
I'm the Father of a child that was removed from this daycare. My son was enrolled in this daycare and it was great in the beginning. He is 3 and was in the class for his age. Plenty of updates, daily homework for him and signs of him progressing in new areas. After the staff changed, the updates were rare if any at all and every time he did anything, they complained and tried to send him home and he hasn't received any homework. Most of the complaints were just my son doing toddler actions such as not wanting to take a nap or eat certain foods. The last report we received was about him not listening and wanting to play and they relinquished care after this incident. It's as if the teachers there do not want to work or simply do not want to take care of toddlers. When any mild inconvenience happened, we were called from work to pick him up because they did not want to try correcting behavior. It's to a point where on the cameras, you can see the teachers staying in one spot while other kids fight over toys and one actually hit my son twice to where it left a noticeable bruise. I had to call up to the school before they even acknowledged it and after that they attempted to reprimand the other student. This place started out great and ended up being a glorified location where the teachers just babysit and send kids home when they had to do more than watch from a distance, or relinquish care when any kid required any teaching or behaviors they did not want to personally address. Wouldn't personally recommend this daycare in its current state but hopefully it returns to its former status and improves the level of care provided.
We’ve had a great experience with this daycare! The staff is kind, understanding, and really good with the kids. Communication is generally clear, though there’s definitely room to improve when it comes to managing notices and updates. Other than that, they’ve been amazing and truly provide a safe, loving environment.
As first time parents, we toured this facility before our daughter was born. We didn’t know what exactly to look for but we knew we’d found it once we came to CCLC. We’re incredibly glad to have found this daycare home for our sweet baby. The staff are welcoming, compassionate, and leave you feeling confident about who is caring for your little one. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of quality childcare!
