I absolutely love this school! My son has been so happy since starting and he loves to wake up and get ready to go every day. The teachers are so sweet and polite. And they communicate with parents really well 10/10 recommend kid city!
My daughter has been attending this daycare center since July. As a FTM I was apprehensive about someone else watching my child so I may work. But her daycare teacher Mrs. Sarah, Amanda, Caitlin and others have this whole experience amazing. My daughter is speaking more and signing words. The daycare director let's talk about her..... If you have a question, comment or concerns she WILL ACTUALLY call you back.. I feel like my daughter is in a very safe environment and I know that the director and staff love the children there.. THANK you for making this momma feel better about the first time in daycare. Would absolutely recommend!!!!!
Kid City was a blessing to my Fragile X Non Verbal Autistic Son. I was told by someone that Lawson would never do good at a normal school and that no one would be able to handle him but these people took a scared little boy in with severe anxiety and sensory issues causing major meltdowns and fits. Lawson couldn't talk to express how he felt but they worked with him and made him enjoy going to school and playing with other kids. They made him and me feel normal. That was all I ever wanted was for my child to feel normal and included. They taught the other kids to love and treat Lawson like a normal friend. A lesson I know they will remember forever. I can't thank these teachers enough for loving and taking the time to care for my little boy. Lawson recently started NC Pre-K but we miss our Kid City. Mrs Suzanne is the sweetest director and Mrs Ivy doesn't give herself enough credit. She was amazing and loves these kids like her own. It is so hard to find a daycare that will take on Autistic Children but this one took my son in and I can not thank them enough.
They are all amazing with the children! I never have to worry one minute out of the day about the baby! My Grand daughter went to kindergarten last year very well prepared and is excelling in everything thanks to this little school. We love them!
. My kid claims he was punched by a teacher. He was demonized for lack of proper staff support. I was lied to consistently by management and gaslit when I brought concerns to their attention. Be advised that staff is posting 5 star reviews about this place all in the past month. Isn’t that manipulative? Of course they want to keep their jobs even if it’s toxic. They have shady businesses practices which include charging for shirts that must be worn and then pushing people out the door as quickly as possible to enroll and charge more people. They also have a disciplinary system that is written up as incident reports that you will not be made aware of until after your child is already in the toxic environment. Do you not understand that children act out the emotional state of the ADULTS around them? My child was treated like a problem when the staff is the problem. The management also has her daughter working there and her 3 grandchildren attending this daycare. It makes me wonder if those 3 children are held to the same standards as all of the other children. Instead of admitting to the unfit environment, they manipulated their own rules to alienate and mistreat my son. On 3 occasions I picked up my son with poop in his diaper which I had to say something about. My son NEVER wanted me to drop him off and finally I just stopped. He wasn’t even there a month. In that time, they sent him home for being sick when he wasn’t and I was told I couldn’t bring him back the next day. Suspended for a day shortly after that. Then he was suspended for 3 days ( what does this help?). They were just manipulating their own system to get me out the door to charge someone else into their toxicity. I DO NOT recommend this place. It should not exist. Now that my son is in a new place he is doing great. Behavior has been a complete turn around. I wish someone would have warned me. This is why I warn you.
