If anyone is on the fence about enrolling here, PLEASE DO IT! I have 3 children ranging from 15 to 5. I have had my children enrolled in many different daycare facilities over the years and never really been very impressed with them. Kid City Academy is a DRASTICALLY different story. I enrolled my youngest son last year. He will be going in to kindergarten next year and thanks to the wonderful teachers and the amazing curriculum they teach, my 5 year old can write his own name, count past 10, identify colors, shapes and letters…. You may be saying to yourself “that’s normal 5 year old stuff!” And that may be true, but my other two kids were not at this level before starting Kindergarten. Not only that, he can also count to TEN in Spanish and knows Spanish words for various things. That’s HUGE. We’ll be talking around and he will hear a random word and go “The Spanish word for that is ______!” Plus there have been so so so many instances where he has randomly piped up with “Did you know” facts that are things that my 10 year old is just now learning about! Random facts like Animal facts, things about the solar system, the weather, etcetc! Just last night we ate shrimp for the first time and he accurately described what shrimp USUALLY look like when they’re…yknow, not in Shrimp Fettuccine. My son started out there not very verbal, now he’s speaking full and complete sentences! I love Kid City Academy. I could never properly express or portray how thankful I am to Mr Mitch and each and every one of the staff members at KCA.

We’ve been part of the KCA family for 18 months now. Before this, our oldest attended a few other places—two traditional schools and one in-home program. This isn’t about them, but having experienced those environments, we can truly appreciate what makes KCA stand out. It’s not just a daycare; KCA is the foundation of early learning—a preschool that goes above and beyond. When our oldest joined preschool, she wasn’t fully potty trained. We were upfront about it with Mr. Mitch and Ms. Abbie, who embraced the challenge without judgment. They boosted her confidence, helping her achieve potty training during nap time—a huge milestone! She then moved on to Ms. April and Ms. Ariel, and, wow, our little girl is reading now! She loves to learn, and the teachers’ kindness and passion for their work shine through. KCA has also guided her in making better choices and embracing “bucket filling” behaviors. Then came our youngest, who has thrived since the moment she started at KCA. Ms. Heather and Ms. Kenyetta in the infant room cared for her as if she were their own. When Ms. Kenyetta transitioned to the 1s class, it was bittersweet—we were sad to see her leave but happy to know we’d cross paths again. In the 1s class, both Ms. Kenyetta and Ms. Katrina have been incredible, teaching our little one sign language and enhancing her communication skills. She’s always coming home with something new, and while I’d like to think I taught her, it’s all thanks to KCA’s curriculum and her dedicated teachers. Is KCA perfect? No, but neither am I. What matters is that they consistently strive to accommodate every child and treat each one with equal care and attention. This extends to the parents as well—different personalities and all (yes, including us!). Mr. Mitch and his late wife, Ms. Jonella, have assembled an outstanding team committed to cultivating an ideal learning environment for young minds. While I haven’t gotten to know all the teachers personally, those I’ve interacted with have been warm and caring toward our children. At KCA, my kids aren’t just numbers; they’re part of a legacy. And I’m so proud that our family is a part of it, too.

Kids City Academy has been the best experience for my son. He’s a very emotional little guy. He tells me even when he’s sad or upset they talk to him and help make him feel better. It means the world to me as a parent that he feels safe, heard and understood. As well as learning fun new things! Everyone is so outgoing, caring and wonderful.I’m so grateful for such an amazing facility that nurtures children to be themselves, to have fun, to grow and learn.
