I have had the pleasure of providing speech-language pathology services here for 20+ years. This center is one of the best early childhood educational centers that I have experienced. It is a great feeling to see every child in the building happy in the classrooms, on the playground and during meals. The staff is friendly and caring. I highly recommend this center to any parent who needs a family like atmosphere for their child to learn educationally and develop socially.
My 2 yr old has been there for a month. I asked them before he started would they be there with him for the change. They assured me they would help him transition that's why I chose them. But today they told me that bc he sleeps he can't be there any longer. Mind you my child is 2. They never called me to help them, never called me to sit in with him and I work across the street. Never explained that this issue could lead to kicking him out. Never mentioned the marks on my child and explain how they got there but today you tell me a sorry excuse to get my child out. There was no concern or team effort just your child can't be here. It is so upsetting to me that they portray to care about children but you give a 2yr old a month at your facility. I have never been so let down in the black community like I am today. It's OK to tell a 2yr old that you are not wanted even though this is a new experience for him. The first meeting led to them kicking him out. If they cared a conference would have happened weeks ago. This was no meeting about my child, it was 2 people teaming up on me just to tell me we don't want your child here. There was no love in the room unless it's lies being told to get your child there. It takes a village to raise a child unless they go to kid appeal. Also in reply to the “owner” you are a LIAR!!! You literally left my child with a scar and be it that it is 8 yrs later I can say it was permanent. You all NEVER asked to make a peace nor help him transition. Maybe if your staff wasn’t in my man’s face so much at the time you all could have had an actual decent conversation with the actual parent. Yet you harmed him and attempted to throw it in my face that he was sleeping when i literally said he was on my schedule which was night shift and he needed time to adjust. You failed my child and you’re not about to sit here and write lies. I remember vividly what happened bc he is my only child. You wrote back 6 yrs later, knowing you had NO CLUE what actually went on with my child. You just wanted to lessen my truth.
The staff here is amazing. I send my son to school everyday knowing that he’s in good hands and is learning what he needs to know to prepare him for Kindergarten.
Teacher did a bad job my son got bitten twice. In toddler class not enough of help no supervisin at all my opinion don't take your child there.
They help my little one so much. They definitely go beyond what is expected.
