Took my toddler here for one day after a couple of hours I received a called asking me to come pick my child up because “he is not a good fit here” obviously confused I asked why and she stated that he wouldn’t sit down when asked and that he was pushing other kids and not sharing mind you I spoke with them before leaving and let them know he is an only child and before coming here he was only going to the gym daycare and he had picked up pushing kids up from another child there and they said that was fine we’ve had worse besides this, my child is a perfect angel at home and I understand what you’re probably thinking. Yes, of course he’s a perfect angel for you. But I’ve never seen the type of the behavior they spoke of while they were there when I picked up my child from the classroom I witnessed on multiple occasions other children pushing shoving snatching etc. in the background… why take it out on just my kid and kick him out of the program after coming home I noticed that he wasn’t acting like his normal self he was flinching and very quiet I’m only giving this place two stars because I loved the security and the other teachers seemed absolutely the sweetest and caring people I have met since moving up here but seriously why kick my kid out for normal behavior for a two year old this is ridiculous since it was only a few hours

I love Joyland and the sweet staff that have helped my little girl adjust to the daycare scene. They worked with her so patiently to help her take a bottle, as she was EBF, and have kept me posted for her day in/day out activities that keeps a new mom feeling secure. Highly recommend!

Very disappointed business owner right here. This is the first public negative review I have ever had to do. I'm a single father of a 21mo little boy. My child has some health issues, they kept giving him milk when told not to, picked him up several occasions food on cloths, hair and face...refuse to accept him with Dr. note after visit because "he would be late", my father had heart attack and in CCU, we were 12 mins late, refused him again, after watching another parent bring in two of her children right as we were walking in. Day care is supposed to relieve stress from parents, not add to it. The blonde woman up front had a constant condescending attitude, and consistently spoke with an arrogance as she was my boss, and I was working for her. This displays nothing of the "Christ like" attitude it portrays. Compassion, grace and mercy are key components of the Christian faith, and understanding my sons conditions (haveing a solitary kidney with multiple issues), it very important, and several times staff said "I keep forgetting about that" as is his health was just a lax issue. After not having sleep by making sure his grandfather is doing well after bypass surgery, and still having to work, and take care of four children on your own (my baby being the only one in this facility) and being 12 mins late, and refusing to care for my child, I chose this was not the "Christ like" care I wanted for my son, cause if they would be this way knowing family issues and struggles, then how are they when I am not around to my son. Very disappointed, as previously I heard good things, but experienced the complete opposite. So by refusing to watch my child after I have already paid, to go to work and run my business so I can supply for my little family's needs, I had my money refunded, and have found another christian day care, that is showed much more attention to my son and concern for his needs, much more so than I experienced here at this daycare. Nice facility, but the woman up front, ruins what could be a great opportunity to serve with the love of Christ, to many little children. I would strongly suggest looking for other options before choosing here, until they make some staff changes, and stick with the Christian principles, of mercy, grace, and compassion. To serve is to be like Christ...especially if your paying for it.
