I am really upset with my experience here. When my son first started at Joy in Learning, his teacher came to my place of work and basically called my son stupid like it was a joke. I laughed it off but it through up huge red flags. Still, my son said he liked it there and he was making friends so I went against my better judgement. Then my son’s teacher was fired but they wouldn’t tell us why. I did some digging and found out the same teacher that came to my work was pinching kids, grabbing them inappropriately and speaking horribly to them. They don’t send pictures, they barely have a curriculum, the rare amount of special events they have are in the parking lot. His teachers now are very nice and I don’t get bad vibes from them, however, they just raised the weekly price of tuition for the second time since we’ve been there and it’s been less than a year. I’m not paying this much for a crappy home center. The only appeal it had was price. Please take your kid somewhere else so they don’t have to go through the heart break I am right now. I don’t want to take my son away from his friends but I can’t afford all these price hikes on top of all the bad that has come from here. So sad and disappointed and they should be ashamed.

Jump to 2021, I sent my 3rd child here and had a terrible experience. They can not handle any children with any sort of special needs. Now we know my son is autistic, but when he was at JIL he was just starting to show signs. I was in constant communication with Ms Cola about what I was trying to sort out. On the phone she acted like she cared and would work with him but not the staff during the day. The final straw was when he came home asking if “he was a bad boy” 2015: When I made the choice to put my first child in a "jump start"/ daycare setting I was so nervous. But after the first conversation with the director Stephanie my mind was quickly put at ease. I was able to bring my son in to tour the center and meet everyone. Everyone in the center is so amazing I really cant say enough positive things about them. My son started here as an alternative to pre-k and learned so much in the 8 months he was there. His kindergarten teacher immediately could tell he had a previous school like setting. We loved them so much we are now sending our second child to JIL.

If you Don’t Look at ANY other Reviews, Please LOOK at this One!!!!!!! Kids are Precious & Innocent. Do Not SEND your Children here At All. They Seem Like they have a Strong Staff, Executive Director, it’s All a Lie. They Cover up for Each other. They have a Lady Working there Abusing Children, Slapping them in a Private Area (Bathrooms) , Grabbing Their Wrists Very Agressively , & Speaking Inappropriate to Toddlers. 2-3-4 years old. Just Shameful & Sad. Tears My Heart Up because Children are Supposed to be nurtured, These Parents are Trusting these places with the Welfare of their children & They are being Mistreated. Please Save yourself a Headache I pulled my Kid out of there Immediately After I recognized What was going on & Several staff members speaking up about certain employees. I wish I would have known sooner, But GOD will Take care of any Evil people hurting children. Please PARENTS do yourselves a Favor. Don’t just Settle because You Couldn’t find anything Else. Be Wise. I’m Hoping you LISTEN. ~God bless

PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!! At First Before I sent my Child-Ren as in 2 Children. Here at this place. It seemed okay for a Starter daycare for them, Convenient, not too too Expensive, . I went there on 2 occasions before I let my kids Start. It seemed like the teachers were good with the children from what I observed because my children are very special to me & As a mom, we want to make sure our children are Safe, Cared for, & Thriving in a nurturing Environment. I Sure Was WRONG & I beat myself up everyday about this because My children were taken advantage of & Abused b/c they are Non-Verbal :(. … Pay attention to signs they do not lie… Let’s just Say Multiple Incidents Happened with my children in their care. I was never NOTIFIED! Unacceptable. Never notified. Myself or my husband. A staff member reported the other staff member for Abusing my child & It was Covered up. I pulled my Children out Immediately. And All of the Staff in charge ( Executive director, Founder, & Center Director knew about all of this, If it wasn’t for the Staff member I wouldn’t have known anything. Thank you God for her! I couldn’t even believe all of this but What’s done in the dark always come to the light. Please DONT send your Kids there. Find them Somewhere Else I don’t trust Places like this B/C it’s Like What else are they Covering up & Certain ppl are scared to Speak up & Risking Losing their jobs a Workplace Shouldn’t even be anything like this. Think about your Kids Before you make the Decision. Or you will Be Living with Guilt like me. Wish I had Known.

We moved our son here a week ago, and we absolutely LOVE the director, Mrs. Stephanie, his teacher Mrs. Robin, and all the other staff. Everyone has been warm and friendly since day 1. Our son is usually hesitant about new places and people, but he went right in, and now even asks to go back daily. One of the kids walked right up to him the 1st day, and started to play and talk. All the staff, parents, and kids are awesome!!! I definitely recommend this center, if you are looking for a small setting, that's educational, warm, and caring!!!!! Im sooo glad we found it and its so convenient to home and work!!:) JIL is a blessing to our family!!!!
