Jordan Country Day School

During my child’s time at Jordan Country Day School (only one month), I observed and experienced multiple issues that I believe compromise the health, safety, and overall well-being of the children in this facility. Hygiene and Cleanliness Concerns Floors and baseboards consistently dirty with a visible layer of filth. Feces observed on the toilet for multiple days without being cleaned. Soap dispensers often left empty for days in a row. Lack of proper diaper/pull-up changes, resulting in repeated diaper rashes. On our first day, our child was picked up with a pull-up so full that his shorts were soaked from top to bottom, indicating he may not have been changed all day. On another occasion, our child was picked up in feces-covered shorts with dried feces on both the front and back, causing a severe rash from not being cleaned properly. Health and Safety Concerns Shot records were never collected or verified, raising safety concerns. Children with visible signs of illness (such as green nasal discharge) were present, suggesting the daycare does not enforce illness stay-home policies. Our child came home with a black eye on the final day of attendance, and no incident report was provided or explanation given. Care and Supervision Issues Daily potty reports, which were promised, were not provided consistently despite reminders. Teacher frequently observed on her phone instead of engaging with children. Excessive television use in place of interactive or educational activities.Little to no assistance during drop-off times, which made the separation process unnecessarily difficult for our child. This shows a consistent lack of hygiene, safety, and proper supervision within the daycare facility and classroom. These issues have directly impacted our child’s health and wellbeing, including repeated diaper rashes, emotional distress, and even injury without notification.

I have recently joined Jordan county day school , and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff is incredibly attentive and caring, ensuring each child feels safe and loved. The facility is clean, well-organized, and equipped with plenty of educational toys and materials that keep the kids engaged throughout the day. One of the things I appreciate most is the structured schedule that balances learning, play, and rest

We love Jordan Country Day School! My daughter has never been to daycare or even had a babysitter. They have been so kind and reassuring. Ms. Tamra is amazing with the children!! Brooklyn is so caring and communicative. I trust my daughter is safe there and that’s the most important. We really couldn’t ask for a better daycare!

My daughter goes here and absolutely LOVES her teachers at JCDS. The directors and teachers are always so friendly and actually talk about the activities and crafts that went on during the day. The willingness to help and answer any questions I may have is outstanding!!

My son absolutely LOVES it here! We had him at a different facility and had some concerns that weren’t met with understanding. Here, they make us feel reassured, keep us informed, and most important of all, make my son feel comfortable and loved! SO GLAD we chose to enroll him here! 10/10 recommend.
