My grandson has been going to daycares for a while, but is new to John Kenney. Once I stepped into the school the atmosphere just felt so different. It is such a peaceful environment for the children. The teachers are so happy and show genuine love and care towards the children. It is so heartwarming to see.
I enrolled my daughters at John Kenney in 2021, when the Pandemic was still very real. I was nervous as neither of my daughters, ages 3 and 16 months, were used to being away from home or wearing masks - Ms. Roxanne, then Director, eased my worries with constant check ups on them through out the day and answering any questions or worry I had. The teachers of every classroom were amazing, kind, caring, and nurturing. Entertaining my daughters' sense of humor, as well as teaching them to be kind above all. I will forever be indebted to all the teachers, both head teachers and assistants alike, but especially Ms. Danielle in the blue room and Ms. Jen - then Kindergarten teacher, as they showed infinite kindness towards my older daughter who had not yet been diagnosed. As a mother, it was hard leaving my daughters in the care of anyone but family; the staff at John Kenney became just what we needed in a time the world was shut down. This is the first year both my daughters are in public elementary school and they are thriving because of the love, care, and support they received at John Kenney.
All three of our boys went to JKCC. We could not be happier. The best teachers and program. Send your kids here if you can get in.
I don’t like to write reviews but this is necessary! Now that I am looking for another child center for my son and saw the ratings for this center I am astonished! My youngest son went to this center he was a year old! It was the worst experience ever! My son would come home and poop sand and when I asked if he was eating the sand the teacher and assistants didn’t know what I was talking about ( I don’t have sand at home)! I let it slide. I wasn’t getting updates as I should. My last straw was when my sone began crying terribly when I changed his diaper! I took his diaper off and he was completely burned, from his groin to his rear! It was so bad that I had to take him to the pediatrician. His pediatrician said that the center was neglecting his care and there is no reason for my child to be RAW in his genital and rear areas. I cried out of anger and sadness! When I address the center I was given the run around and nobody took accountability! Please avoid putting your child here!
My son has just started going here for a few weeks and he loves it they are so patient with him he looks forward to going to school everyday to see his teachers Mrs. Cheryl Ms. Chichi and Ms. Ritu. He has also learned so much, we are so pleased.
