Jewell'S Gems Academy

The caregivers at JG love our baby, and are responsive to us during the day. It’s a family-owned and operated center, but in a commercial building, so we really feel like we’re getting the best of both worlds. With many daycares selling to private equity, we really appreciate knowing they aren’t cutting corners to appease shareholders. We’re so grateful to have them in our neighborhood.

We had a fantastic experience with Jewell’s Gems for our infant daughter. The staff are both compassionate and highly skilled, providing a nurturing environment. Communication was excellent throughout her time there, making us feel at ease about sending her each day. I wholeheartedly recommend Jewell’s Gems Academy!

We have loved our daughter's experience at Jewell's Gems! She started in the infant class and they held my hand that first tough week back to work. She has always had the best care from gentle and caring teachers. Whenever there was an issue, we were alerted immediately and worked as a team to get things resolved. Ms. Jewell and Mr. Harold take great pride in keeping their center clean and safe for children, teachers and families. They have taken every precaution with COVID and we so appreciate their attention to detail.

Not professional. I paid money to hold a seat and due to extenuating circumstances with covid and my child's health and also my health could not physical have my son attend the daycare. Mr. Garner was very kind and worked his best to say he completely understood as I almost died in childcare due to severe complications and was even working remotely at home. He told me to call when we would be able to return and so I did. I always kept them in mind and I had more interactions with him then Mrs. Garner. Mrs. Garner tone over the phone was unacceptable as she exaggerated "We can't hold his seat forever". My son wasn't even born when I secured his seat and I talked with her nice husband who gave me a tour of the facility and background of the facility. I even looked over the 2 stars the state gave the facility for a safe sleep infraction. So needless to say I am very disappointed. She treated me as if I was trying to be deceitful. So due to lack of communication nor just checking with her husband or seeing if her husband put any notes on our records. She took my money and disregarded this great family like trash.

We have loved sending our kids to JGA. It is a great, family-run daycare. Our kids have gone to JGA since they were born, and we are thankful for having a trusted daycare.
